  • Beautiful horse. I have an arabian.

  • I LOVE THAT SONG WHAT IS IT CALLED!!!

  • i will try that on my pony freddie

  • cool;)

  • @irkenequine

shut up i have scene them in my area jumping. And once in a hunter show went up against a Friesian! So why dont you just shut up and when you get a Friesian do whatever you want with it!

  • Beautiful horse! Well both of them are but the one that Jane is working with is stunning!

  • love the song! lol

  • "one world one braid" soo funny:) whats the song called??

  • Dose anyone know if this kind of braid is okay for hunter/jumper shows? My parents are thinking of getting me a Friesian for christmas and i just wanna make sure.

  • @MewSilverGold Friesians typically aren't seen at hunter/jumper shows. I'd go for as traditional as possible and use hunter braids.

  • @MewSilverGold expensive present, holy!

  • @MewSilverGold If you knew anything about the breed you're pretending to purchase, than you'd know they make awful hunters and aren't built to jump.

  • @irkenequine While they are mostly bred for pulling and dressage, I have seen one in an eventing show. I went to the 2010 May Daze 3day competition at the KY Horse Park and competed against a Friesian

  • @irkenequine So true.

  • Okay Cool Video...but I have a Friesien and I can't get him to GROW a good mane! He rubs it out...Someone tell me what the secret is to getting a beautiful mane. Should I be keeping it socked? Someone please tell me! He's 11 and never had a very good mane. email: fmfaithmartin35@gmail.com or msg me on youtube fmfaithmartin35

  • this song made me lol

    beautiful mane

  • lol "one world one braid" so inspirational

  • Next time with a compitition I'm going to try this :)

  • thankyou soo much for this video! i ride two canadian horses and they have really long an thick manes that i have to french braid for shows. i french braid well but by the end of the show day they are loopy and falling out. I'll definatly use the ties all the way down.

  • thank you so much i love videos i can relate to this is great. i love how its humerous because its entertaining not just " do this and this then this and if you dont do this you get this and this is better than this and this can't happen cause then this happen and thats wrong you have to do this " GRRRR i hate those... lol anyways thanks so much! I AM SUBSCRIBING!!!! :D

  • Thanks for this video I found it really helpful it was easy to understand and I have been braiding my pony's mane like this every day and he seems to really like it, keeps him from getting all sweaty under his long mane when I ride. :)

  • You guys are making a huge deal out of a horse MOVING ITS HEAD! When you can't even see the whole shot of the horse! He/She is probaly just doing it to intertain its self, maybe something was in its face? I wouldn't call that a 'behavioural disorder' when you can't even see the intire shot. Think before you type?

  • i dont see what all the fuss is about some horse just swing their heads like that my horse dose all the time when she gets boared in her stall is just something they do

  • just horrible to see a horse in the background with an behavioural disorder.. shaking head from the left to the right side..( 1:26 ca.) thumps DOWN for that video which shows again that some people care most for good looking and less for species-appropriate husbandry!

  • @EmberToInferno08 I agree, the video was informative and interesting but I was distracted by the poor horse weaving in the background :/

  • OMG that is beautiful!!! I'm going to try that on my pony :p

  • Your horse has such a beautiful mane! :) WIsh my horse had a mane like that.

  • You might want to try a french braid sometime. This is a running braid. I think you'll be very pleased with the results the french braid--no need to tie thread around the braid and you can do it tight and it will stay in for stretchy circle no problem. With a thick mane you can divide it down the crest and do two french braids--one on each side. This is how the lusitanos are braided.

  • Important point about the braid's tension re the free walk, stretchy trot or canter circles. Thanks!
