my pipes go all the way back. the mufflers are on both side of the driveshaft, the pipe continues over the rear axle and they exit on both sides behind the rear wheels. I always find that the more pipe you run after the muffler, the better and clearer and more "tubular" sounding it will be. I've heard 305's with headers and turn downs right after the mufflers and they sound kinda crappy, to me anyways, every man has his preference!

2 flowmasters are 70 a piece, about 12 feet of pipe is 50 bucks and headers were 180. installed and welded it myself

take a wax crayon, runs your pipes extra long, run a quarter mile, the point the wax stops melting cut there, for perfect straight pipes

sounds mean!!, i miss my 87 grand prix t tops (gold)--they are great cruisers!! but i love my 02 now--haha
