Yes, giving someone employment who would otherwise never had a job is a real slap in the face. Suggest all you recruitment haters to consider how much effort is required to find you a job in the first place rather than shoot the messenger when a company terminates a contract. Also, most payroll problems are not the consultant's fault, candidates have no idea but choose to blame their consultant because thats who they speak to.
@Tallandcharming sorry 2 agree with @reggaestep1 here, you know a hell of alot about wot goes on and how much effort it is for recruitment companys 2 get people job, for some1 who just has 2 friends that work for the company, im definitely thinking your working for this company.
@Tallandcharming The woman giving me the message was not my consultant. I did pass the msg onto my consultant but they did not care. I know you think the sun shines out your arse Tallandcharming and you think you know everything but i would probably say it is more to do with choosing engineers who have 10yrs experience + , with Telecommunication skills. Rather than the new recruits who have only a few months. I would also recommend you learn video editing as your videos truly suck on your page.

Quick thought...you may not have been requested back because the client thought you were not suitable (almost certainly the case). The recruiter was possibly distracted by something else, causing them to laugh, which i agree is not ideal for a voicemail. Hays are one of the largest and most successful recruitment groups in the world and they do so with the best recruitment staff training available. While you were not happy I suggest you focus your energy hunting for a new role than this nonsens

I was quite close to my manager and coach trainers as well as the engineers who had a lot of time for me.They were as shocked as me when I got this message.They told me that I was starting to pick up the work really well in fact. The problem is they recruited far too many engineers, and now people are being told the same message as me. 1 engineer did not even receive a message and found out when he got 2 work he was no longer needed.

I have had no problems with other agencys in the past when I have used them.
