thanks for the video - the "pinky" way of explaining the method was easier to understand than *all* the other videos on youtube about the over-under method.
seriously i dont understand whats the difference between this and just doing it over over... it it simply if i look at the cable in my hand, to pass it in front of my plug and back from it each loop?
I've never left a comment on youtube before but just want to say a massive "thank you" for this video. It's going to save me so much heartache in future. All my leads are packed up and tidy ready for the next gig

Jeff, thank you. The "stabbing yourself" and pinkie up or down method was the verbal/visual instruction I needed to connect the dots on this task.

This way has less kink in the cable, and rolls out a lot nicer in longer cords.

Nice form bro, but you should check out Stage Ninja Cables (auto-wind). We've got 12 in our studio, they pretty much rule.

Thanks so much for this, I'm on my school A/V, and my supervisor nearly hugged me and gave me a raise when I showed him how to do this LOL.

Helps massively at our "portable church", where we pack and unpack cables every week. This is the best way to wrap cables by a long shot.
