I remember beating this game on my shitty P4 1.6 with an GeForce 4...64mb. Almost the lowest resolution 1024x768...and I remember sweating my ass off with adrenaline and fear this entire campaign. This game was perfect! The best cod game by far. Cod Modern Warfare was good as well but the first cod nailed it.

For this I play a very good and really realistic game: Red Orchestra: Ostfront 1941-45. There you can choose on what side you play. But there no missions, only a fantasitc mulitiplayer.^^

And 2nd the Wehrmacht was no nazi army, or better there soldiers! 1 out of100 was a nazi, but no more!!! The rest was same like US, GB or UdSSR Soldiers! Please respect it! t u

@Arleran Well, in fact, the soldiers were far more scared of comissars than the Germans themselves, so they were the ones wich reforced the soviet soldiers courage, but they also killed over 15,000 soviet soldiers, some of them weren't really retreating, they were carrying injured commrades.

There are also much videos on Youtube. In Multiplayer there are some servers with 50 Players and more in the evening^^

I really like this game, because it has lots to do with tactic so its quite hard to survive^^ But much better than this Cod games...

They used everything they could, from Maxim and Lewis Mk1 & Mk2 machine guns ( 1910-1918 produced ) to flintlock pistols and muskets from Napoleonic Wars era..... It was a dark time, but Russia today still holds the posistion of the largest country in the world cause of it =D
