  • the Prosciutto looks like bacon...

  • @yourblankpromise It pretty much is. It's a type of dry-cured ham served raw in most cases. Don't worry, it's safe!

  • @newyorkissweet She doesnt layer too much, whereas if she uses thick cut, it's much thicker than just two layers

  • @newyorkissweet She doesnt layer a lot, wherea

  • I can listen to her pronouncing mozzarella over and over again and not get sick.

  • if u don't like the meat that thick then why did u keep on piling it on the bread. it makes no sense. but it did look really good and tasty. i can go for one right now lol

  • Can you buy that cheese in the store and he meat? And what kind of bread is that?

  • @megsweetie17 yes you can buy the cheese in stores idk about the meat lol srry, and the bread is italian flat bread

  • THIS SANDWICH LOOKS SPECTACULAR. I HAVE A DELI THAT I GO TO IN SAN JOSE, CA. LA VILLA IN WILLOW GLEN. EVERY SANDWICH IS A GEM. YOU CAN REQUEST ANY NEW COMBINATION YOU CAN IMAGINE. I CREATED A PROSCITUTTO, MORTADELLA AND PROVOLONE ON FRENCH. WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS. INCLUDING WONDERFUL PEPPERONCINI'S. AND LOTS OF MAYO/MUSTARD. ITS THE GREATEST SANDWICH I'VE EVER ATE. THE MORT/PROS FLAVORS PLAYING OFF EACH OTHER IS LIKE NOTHING ELSE ON THIS EARTH AND THE PROV AND THE TRIM, SEND IT OVERBOARD.

  • Can you make this bread??

  • Umhh u really need to have your own cooking show!!

  • omg i love Buffalo mozzarella!!!

  • wow she ate that cheese so fast..! I love her!! XD

  • She is soo sweet but she looks like the type of person if you mess with her, shell take her kitchen knife and thinly slice you like the prosciutto

  • @ludjennys lmaoo that's so funny and probably true :)

  • Look good, Laura... but I'm a Muslim so I can't eat prosciutto (no piggie for me),, same as with no wine/ rum :) Any substitution for ham in this case?

  • @onlyfathskie it won't be the same if you substitute the main ingredients =x either have the ham or no sammich D:

  • @DollyLocksable yeah, of course :) so I guess I just not going to eat it, right?

  • @onlyfathskie sorry =(

  • is that raw meat???

  • @taylorswift2807 It's cured meat.

  • @taylorswift2807 i think they think of it like ham in a way.. like how you would buy deli sandwich ham in a package or from a butcher and eat it.. thats probably how they think of it..

  • ... in california you'd get a $50 dollar fine if you made that without iceberg lettuce and a beefsteak tomato ...

  • HAHA that New Jersey accent! HAHA

  • Where can you buy the Mozzerella de buffalo

  • This sandwich makes me miss Italy :/

it also makes me incredibly hungry for Italian food...

  • That cheese looks fucking delicious.

  • Yum mm mm

  • HAPPY ANNIVERSARY <3<3

  • why do I torture myself watching this while im hungry?

  • That gets on my nerves. She doesn't have a shred of Italian accent until she says "mozzarella" or "proscuitto" then she's suddenly Old Country. The sandwich is also better with a sprinkling of oregano and basil, by the way.

  • you are right! everytime i go in Italy i always want to have a sandwich with prosciutto and mozzarella because i loved it so much!!

  • my favorite sandwich too! i could eat it everyday

  • 4:46 lol -3 u

  • Will it do to toast the whole sandwich together to melt the cheese? Sorry I just like melted cheese it's so gooey hahaha.

  • My favourite bread is ciabatta too! :))

  • How r u nt huge so lucky

  • @chaosnaoss mozzarella is always in the water when you buy it to keep it cooler and fresh ;)

  • Prosciutto di Parma e Mozzarella di Bufala? Che bontà...Laura sei fantastica!! I'm on diet so..:( i can't see this video!! lol

  • YOUR AMAZZINGG!

a real girl who can EAT! great recipes :)!

  • I would like to know why Italians in America speak regular english, but then they say mozzarella and prosciutto in Italian. I've watched Giada De Laurentiis and she does that too. Why is that?

  • @cocobrownallaround because it is in their native language.. it's quite normal..

  • @cocobrownallaround because this is a Italian dish and those are Italian terms??

  • @taylorswift091196 I'm very much aware that these are Italian dishes, but that wasn't my question. I would like to know why they have to say it that way.

  • @cocobrownallaround so that it sounds more authentic LOL. If they can't speak Italian then of course they can say it the English way but if they are then it would be better of course! Like would you rather eat sushi from a Japanese-speaking Japanese chef or a English-speaking one?

  • @taylorswift091196 As long as the person knows what they're doing and has taken safety of foods into consideration, then I wouldn't really care that much they were Italian, Japanese, etc. I think it's sounds silly to speak in english then all of a sudden switch up your voice and words when it comes to Italian ingredients. That's the point I was trying to make.

  • @cocobrownallaround They're Italian words... She's just saying them correctly. If the words were different altogether in English, then I would understand your criticism a bit more.

  • @MissMortViolette Actually, I'm not criticizing, I'm simply asking a question.

  • Serving size: 1 hungry Laura

  • I love how excited you are lol

  • Needs ABSOLUTLEY no olive oil, no pepper!

    *30 seconds later...

Now gonna sprinkle some olive oil to keep it moist and crush some pepper because i like pepper!(:

    iLOVE YOU LAURA!!(;

  • @YAYA18ify she said no sait smart one if you were listing and she didnt put olive oil on the prosciutto and mozzarella she put the bread...

  • @MissTinaBeana Did I Ask you?

  • Is prosciutto made out pork or beef ?

  • OMG I see many similarities between Spain and Italy, we have chapata bread, serrano ham and lots of cheese : ) love it

  • I just made this because it looked amazing. I toasted it so the mozzerella melted a little and it was A-MA-SING! Thanks for showing me how to make delicious food that I wouldn't have had access to otherwise. You need your own TV show seriously!

  • Laura,my kids and I enjoy watching your videos All your dishes of what ever you make looks so yummy so my kids and I made this as family we LOVE it thank you so much keep doing what your doing :) we loooovvvveeee you Laura

    Love your videos and you:D

    xxxxxx

  • I am 18 years old and I have never eaten cheese of any kind in my entire life. Because of the love and care you put in your food in general and specifically in this video, I've decided to actually try and make this sandwich and give a taste to mozzarella. I absolutely loved it:) Thank you Laura for being such an inspiring and amazing cook <3

  • @maracouch lol no life. why the fuck wouldn't you eat cheese? cheese is the fucking BEST.

  • @maracouch How do you never have cheese? you have mind fucked me lmao

  • Laura stai facendo un bel lavoro perchè stai trasmettendo agli americani le vere ricette italiane:) spesso in America tutto è,come dire, copiato ma non riprodotto alla perfezione..tu stai riproducendo l'originale! Good job!

  • I like when you say mozzarella :) its sound so cool :D

  • so im 14yr old girl and watching a cooking video on how to make a sandwich at 4:00am i think my obsesion for cooking has hit a new low....but laura ur videos are amazing :)

  • Can I sub the prosciutto cause it's really pricey in my country. Being imported and all. Oh and could I use normal mozzarella ? Buffalo is twice the price. :(

  • Laura, how about melting the mozzarella, or just grilling the whole sandwich? Would that still be good or would it be ruined?

  • this video has the best tasting clip of all your video's!!!

  • I prefer a nicely aged thick cut Prosciutto di Parma.

  • u can tell how excited she is making this sandwich

  • How can you cook such delicious food and remain so skinny, LOL?

BTW, love your instructions of the recipes & explanation on use of ingredients!

  • Hi Laura, can you please do a Chinese dish?

  • @angelsafa how abt a chinese-italian crossover? im not rly sure laura would know how to make a chinese dish. Or maybe, a italian dish inspired by a chinese dish?

  • @kikiang3l well that sounds like a great idea :) I'll gladly take that!

  • damn u fineeee :D

  • That looks amazing!!!!!

  • I love you

  • I love how she speaks <3

  • OMG....i can't stop watching Laura's videos again and again but everytime i watch, i'm getting more and more hungry..

  • U said u weren't gonna use pepper or oil???

  • WHY NOT USE FETA CHEESE

  • @CrazyReisRocks Because she's trying to make it look more Italian, if she use another ingredients such as Greek feta cheese, Spanish serrano ham and French baguette it won't be Italian so instead she use mozzarela di bufala (she pronounce it really bad by saying bufalo), prosciutto di Parma and ciabatta bread.

  • @12alar1132078oktia she's from Italy, so I think she probably knows how to speak Italian.

  • @12alar1132078oktia Yeah you're right she didn't really pronounce it correctly. :/

  • This would also be nice with serrano ham from Spain!! :)

  • i thought u said that you were not going to use in salt, pepper, and oil but at the end of making the sandwich u used pepper and oil

  • @manwela123love she means you don't need it, but she prefers it

  • @manwela123love lol..i picked up on that too....

  • @chicken855 i know that was so wierd

  • my mouth is watering!

  • @acgall wow mine was to

  • 4:53 Crunch!! Nom Nom Nom =D Hahaha

  • ahh you just made me so hugry!!!! and i dont have those ingredients :(

  • hmm..buffalo mozzarella, I'll try this with girls
