  • awesome

  • sorry, someone has the harpsichord part of this concert?

  • A execução e o mérito dos músicos merecem sempre um aplauso, neste caso melhor ainda porque é uma optima execução. Obrigado. Fernando.

  • Great Vivaldi's world heritage performance. Thanks. ขอบคุณครับ (Thank you words in Thai).

  • id play a duet with that girl any day. she was movin her head all crazy though.

  • Excellent! Makes me want to start playing the cello again!

  • vivaldi two cello breakbeat REMIX

  • @jchanman911 You will be able to perform it if you want to only thing holding you back is frear only thing holding you down is gravity. You can accomplish anything you put your mind to. I started playing 2 years ago at 48 if i can be working on this piece so can you . Don't let anything get in the way.

  • This is soo good... I'd love to perform this. I wonder if I will ever get the chance?

  • @dramaqueen412 Belive it and keep practising! FAITH

  • Muy bien tocado, con mucha expresión.. me ha gustado mucho...

    Yo tb lo toqué...

  • uaoooo bravissimi

  • Oh, cool story bro.

  • Astonishing peeeeerfeeeeect! Congratulations to both of you!! :D

  • Un poco menos de teatro por parte de los solistas y más mirar al director, cosa que hacen bien poco.

También deberían recordar como se toca el barroco...

Saludos (y sí, he tocado este concierto)

  • i like the vibrato personally.

  • Holly jesus what is it with this huge and disgusting vibrato ?!?! do these people have parkinson's or something ?! why can't they play a single note straight ? I don't think they've ever heard of historical performance practice...great players but shit interpretation...what a shame...

  • @10stringGuitarist i agree....... most nauseating jerking ive seen

  • @10stringGuitarist i think thats what makes classical music what it is vibrato look at some of vivaldis other pieces like the 4 season pieces not a single one is without use of vibrato it also can tell the difference between a medioker musician and a gifted musician is not just look what intonations are writen on the paper but auctually play them as if it was a life of death situation i think this is an excellent job at atempting to play this concerto....

  • @jc2011NE Ok, listen buddy. I'm a PhD student in musicology. Stylisticaly speaking, there should not be as much vibrato. This is not a stylistic performance. Vivaldi is NOT classical music. It is Baroque music. Classical music is roughly defined as the music between 1750 and 1830. Roughly. This style of performance, on modern instruments, is inappropriate for vivaldi. Stylisticaly, this is Romantic technique and music. Not baroque and certainly not classical. Any more questions ?

  • @10stringGuitarist What was your take on the two lead cellists? I thought they were both very talented young people, but their bowing leaves something to be desired. Their playing is skillful in a mechanical way, but they are missing that extra 10% that makes a virtuoso. They are young, I suppose with age their playing will become less mechanical and more stylistic. The first movement had pretty weak bowing in my opinion, and I agree that there was too much vibrato through all movements.

  • @10stringGuitarist so in order to stylistcaly correct play this concerto, must we play it on baroque period cellos with baroque bows ect? what are the main characteristics of baroque playing? also what makes this performance romantic and not baroque?

  • Love it xP

  • No one seems to be looking at the conductor.

  • @vanillaheartcookie Lol, my teacher forced me to play this too when I only had been playing for 3 years. I just switched teachers, but the damage was done. Playing this ruined it for the future. Even to this day I can't play this piece properly. Do we have the same teacher? ; )

  • If I was a baroque purist, I would say that there should be no vibrato in this piece, but that is only if you are trying to mimic exactly how people would have played it way back when (during Vivaldi's times). But I think the added vibrato is beautiful, so I will so no more than that! :)

  • Just great ;)

  • I played this piece in 7th grade....

  • @Almondandlime we dont care shut the fuck up! u and all the fucking spamers

  • 5:16 sooo pretty

  • I found the sheet music to this whole piece... if anybody wants it, just message me. It's a Pdf file, so just make sure that you have Adobe Acrobat.

  • @TheQuKo I sent it. :) Tell me if you get it. If you want the parts to the other instruments, I can find that too, but for now it is just the 2 Cellos.

  • @Yahshuaismylamp would you send me the orchertral accompaniment plz? I need the 2nd and 3rd movements :)

  • @MrNacharon Sure, I need to find the link again lol. I downloaded just the 2 cellos parts, but I can find you the orchestral accompaniment. You can message me and if you give me your email I can send it.

  • @Yahshuaismylamp Can you post the link on here?

  • @Yahshuaismylamp Can you post the link on here?

  • Could you post the link?...

  • @kjmeyers86 Yes once I find it again, I can. It's just that it doesn't let you post URL's really unless you for example: facebook(dot)com

  • I found the sheet music to this whole piece... if anybody wants it, just message me.

  • I have a different recording of this on my ipod. I almost think it sounds better when they use less vibrato, and baroque cellos. But this is great, nonetheless!

  • ♪♫♥ !

  • Good thing the conductor dressed for the occasion

  • This is my favourite Vivaldi's cello concerto, you did it so great :D

  • al fín completa la versión

  • @pajabow thats the viola stand you dumbass

  • @Sahara101010 Actually, that's second violin... it appears there are only two violas. And she's last chair, so what to expect?

  • Wow! It's nice how these cellos are sounding

  • my sis is playin this and she never stops listening to this recording......and it's great!!!

  • @stephtheninja335 coming from someone who has been playing for the past 11 years and played this my junior year in school, she should probably listen to one that is played slower or listen to one that the soloists actually hit 99% of the notes and stay with the beat. The cellos ultimately pick their comfortable speed to play the song and in this recording, these cellos pick a much faster speed than they can keep up with unfortunately.

  • The soloist that guy he is a shy person.. nvr look up to smile or see audience at least once song ended... hahaha!

  • @butterfingers6m because he is a gay

  • @sweetlikeADAM yes but it sounds beautiful!

  • @vanillaheartcookie relax the second movement is a peice of cake ive learned it and i started playing this year.you must have detication and a good ear if you want to accomplish playing that movemnt

good luck! if you have any questions please feel free to ask

  • This is excellent. I love it.

  • Anyone else notice the orchestra's cello section mess up at 2:24?

  • @sweetlikeADAM Not! Minor third anticipation in the basses! Dominant chord in violins and violas!

  • @FabioCostaMusic No. They are off by 2 beats. You can even see the conductor instructing them to get back on.

  • @sweetlikeADAM Oh, you are right! Still, it could have been written like that... but maybe not by Vivaldi...! :-)

  • @sweetlikeADAM Anyway, very beautiful playing!

  • @FabioCostaMusic Yes it is good playing. And it is a mistake by the players; I've played this concerto a few times :).

  • Best performance of this piece ever!

  • maaan.. i would never marry this girl.. she kind of scaries me with that bow o_o

  • @cometogether420 she plays a mean cello :P

  • Very, very beautiful :)! I can't believe your were 15 when you played this. I'm amazed, you're such a great performer!

  • nice sound quality

  • nice sound quality

  • The Violin Player Girl Has 10 Ex-Boy Friends who voted Dislike!

  • Oui, c'est excellent. J'ai aimé la performance.

  • no asians?

  • too fast guys!!! relax, is vivaldi not the firebird suite.

  • Merci beaucoup :D

  • c'è intesa tra loro..si direbbe amore..

  • absolutely lovely!

  • can i rate it thousands of times ?! can i ?! Amazing Masterpiece... Vivaldi !!!

  • My fav song by vivaldi and i Love to play it with my quartet all the time

  • control the vibrato. too fast for this piece and if ur trying to achieve the baroque style use minimal (in the last movement in the more passionate parts).

sometimes tension in sound is created without ANY TENSION at all.

    relax your shoulders!

  • this kids plays very well! but their sound like shumann with this concerto. if you want play romantic baroque, it's ok , but there's some rules that you can't ignore (like the overgrow vibrato)

  • young boys play very well! but young boys plays vivaldi like shumann! (and this is conducer' & cello teacher responsaility)

  • Yowza yowza yowza.

  • Beautiful playing.

  • heehee she makes fishy faces sometimes :)

  • ♪♫♥ !

  • Bellissimo... Non è tra le "versioni" che preferisco (come velocità, accenti, forte/piano, etc) ma resta sempre uno dei migliori concerti di Vivaldi in assoluto :)

  • I listen to this when I'm doing my homework

  • @SuperDiva2345 that's exactly what I'm doing at this very moment.

  • @SuperDiva2345 That must be some intense homework you got there...

  • me to

  • bravissimi ^^

  • I was so happy when the audience didn't clap between movements. utter gold to the ears

  • Fav cello song... I love to play it for contest :D

  • Look at violin number two

2nd bench on the right (the girl) she isn't using allot of bow

  • @Pajabow Thats a Viola not a violin so shes using other notes.

  • @Bl00DN00B Violin, viola?? whats the difference? lol jk

  • @Pajabow because she is faking

  • @Pajabow It's due to her quick insight to how much bow is actually need to strike such a look of effort as the others have to look like it's really difficult to play. She's pwning.

  • @Pajabow a lot

  • @Pajabow freaks ...

  • @Pajabow > Sorry, I'm not into classics so much, but what do you mean? She is not using the whole extension of it?

  • This was awesome. both players really added some nice feeling to it.

I think I'll try and play this piece though, it sounds absolutely fantastic!

  • And to think I played this when i was 12...time goes by so fast. I should really pick it up again.

  • Thanks for uploading Vivaldi's world heritage with great concerto performance. 'ขอบคุณครับ (Thank you words in Thai)'

  • bare good bruv

  • excellent, both soloists.and fine orchestra whether in out out of tune..who isn't cometimes??

  • excellent,both soloists.and fine orchestra

  • not to be mean, but that note at 7:47 was very noticeably out of tune. regardless, very well played performance.

  • Siete molto bravi! Grazie, Signor Vivaldi.

  • Tres beau!

  • AHHH I love this concerto, I always wish I could play this, but im just not good enough yet :(

  • Finally i found the whole Concerto in youtube! Its very wonderful. I just started practicing the 3rd movement. Its an awsome piece! I never heard the 2nd and 3rd movement with orchetra/cembalo. Its wonderful!

  • It is a lot of work to reach such a level in playing, combining and performing but it must also be a deep happiness to manage to do so. This is art and they are artists

  • great as far as modern interpretation goes, but far from a historically informed performance. maybe ease off a little on the vibrato. good job though.

  • This is beautifull some day I will be like the cello players just maybe 4 more years added 2 my 3.

  • I always liked this piece. You play well. Thanks for the friend invite :-)

  • The girl with the cello is amazing.

  • ... Wow. I love this piece. Vivaldi... my favourite.

  • Best performance for this masterpiece I've heard on u-tube so far. Thanks for U/L.

  • Many of this algorithms, 'progressions', are very widely used in baroque. They are superficially unique, with unique figures, but the core, the 'colors' are all around too familiar...

  • Excellent performation! Congratulation!

  • Brava! A beautiful piece, played beautifully!

  • wooooowwww.....amazing o.O!
