Except for a 3-hour exhibition a day earlier that featured 30 players in line waiting on one station (also, nothing was unlocked yet), this tournament WAS the first time a lot of these guys were able to play Brawl competitively.

ice climbers are kinda noobish just spam attack if the girl gets hurt their % doesnt go up he is just spamming that ice attack if one gets gripped the other one will just hurt you you can pick up two items to x.x

And they hardly ever hit the player with their ice spam.

It's a cypher, if you've played MGS 2, it's a little thing that hovers (basically a disk with a propeller in the middle) with a camera on top.

let the massiv metal gear fan(me) tell you.

First off the mines he deploys are called claymores. those are self-detonated with the same button you used to set them. You can do damage to yourself with these so be careful.

Second, the fragmentation grenades you throw are timed. Throw them at risk because they can leave you wide open for a smash attack if you miss throw them in the right spot.

There are two types of mines Snake uses:

1. Snake simply drops a satchel charge that he can denote remotely at any time. Eventually the satchel charge will explode on it own...

2. Snake must be on the ground to use this mine. Snake will dig a hole to place the mine. When anyone stands on it, it will detonate.

As for the grenades, they blow up over time. I think they blow up instantly if you nail your opponent with the grenade (like if you toss the grenade right at the guy).

1 is right. btw you have to add to number 2 that if u charge the mine longer when you are on the ground, the explosion and damage will be bigger. The grenades don't blow up instantly if they nail your opponent, they fall near the guy. then when the time is up they explode.

When someone says a character is a "bad" character, it depends on whether or not the person playing the chracter is good.

Hearing this always makes me glad.

In a perfect fighting game, it's the degree of skill in using a character rather than the character used that decides a match, all items/hazards aside, of course.

How balanced things are is out of reach for me, most likely everyone right now, whether you own brawl or not. But here's to hoping!

yeah, the developers dont just come out with a list saying "if u want to be pro play these guys" u have to play what characters u like and YOU MAKE THEM PRO! then u put it on a forum with some of your gameplay and say "here is how good i am at this guy" and other ppl say "Wow that guy is pimp i think i could be that good with him/her" and then they go and try them to see if they work out ^.^ friend at school said that lucario would suck and i say "screw u nubcake ILL MAKE HIM PRO!!!"
