My favorite Stanwyck performance, even including her amazing dramatic turns. So beguiling, so charming, so loveable, yet you knew she had you wrapped around her finger the entire time. There were moments in the film where I was just as lost as Henry's character for a few seconds, and when she revealed she was just messing with him, I felt like I was in on the joke too. That's acting.
classic, i just saw this movie and it was FILARIOUS (fuckin hilarious)!!!! i loved and bought it, i recomend this movie and "you belong to me" that one also has barbara and henry its funny!!!!
Was that "They were John's twin cousins." or "They were johns," -slight pause- "twin cousins."?
Two VERY different meanings!
Either way I laughed out loud. I love Barbara Stanwyck - she never fails.
