The truth us that Georgia needs to be more tolerant of freedom of the press. According to Freedom House, Georgia was a "Partly Free" country in 2007.

The EU should use the crisis to also grow closer to Russia. The spirit of the Community is toward peaceful resolution of disputes, not punitive measures!

READ the Schuman Declaration - and teach "New Europe" about the REAL purposes of the Community!

I hope Georgia will be ready to join the EU one day, but of course it is still a long way to go.

Bringing Georgia into the EU or NATO would be a dangerous move. Russia would just consider it a threat seeing as they both include military alliances, they would then just cut off the oil and gas and thus, Europe would be in chaos.
