too bad for the crows are there players now days are a bunch of duds port too there both hopeless be good when they pull there heads out of there ass and become decent teams again.
I remember watching this when i was 5 years old, this was when i first started watching footy and supporting the Crows. the boys played played bloody well. Macca best on ground, and Jarman was an absolute gun the memories still remain today! Then it was all so sweet when the siren sounded and we were the first club to win back to back in the AFL in 98'!!
No offence i rly think that saints should win tho i think that either dogs or cats wuld win. Still wuld be happy if saint's win tho just an opinion. Im a swans fan
Haha, Same I'm a swans fan! But i think the Saints should win cause they've only ever won 1 premiership in like 1958 or something and they were undefeated until round 20.... Sad that the swans are out of the finals this year :(
The wise men of Melbourne thought we couldn't win. But Blight pulled off some of the best moves on the day. David Pittman shut down Stewie Lowe while Darren Jarman to full forward gave us the goal kicking power to win. Andrew Macleod was simply amazing and deserved the Norm Smith medal. It was a good day to be a crow supporter.
It's not generally known but Neil Craig was the man behind the Jarman to full forward decision. An inspired decision; I only wish I was old enough to really appreciate that 97 flag :(
what about the hawks of the late 70s to early 90s,the tigers of the late 60s and early 70s,the blues of the late 60s and early 70s and late 70s and early 80s?
he said grand final not premiers though. I would've thought they were a good chance but like always they fucked up. Go Cats, Dogs and Saints. Don't care who wins outta those three as long as it aint Hawthorn.
Although, it should be noted that the Crows beat bugger all good sides...all year. I can't remember the last top 8 side they beat, bar the Bulldogs in the final round - a struggling Bulldogs who lost something like 7-9. I never expected them to get past Collingwood.
Yeah i never expected them to get past Collingwood either. Of the seven other teams to make the finals they beat the Bulldogs, Swans and Kangas and i think that was it.
im a crows supporter, but man the saints had some great great players burke, jones, harvey of course, lowe

ADEL 19.11 (Jarman 6, Ellen 5, Bond 4, Caven, Goodwin, Rintoul, Smart) def ST.K 13.16 (Hall 3, Heatley 3, Loewe 2, Burke, Harvey, Jones, Peckett, Winmar)

brisbane of 01-03 would kill geelong's side at the moment
sossyzaia 3 years ago 12
I think that honour would go to the Collingwoood of 1927-1930 or the Melbourne of 1955-1960.

I'm a crows fan, but cmon mate, that's retarded. Geelong are going to steamroll everyone.
This Geelong side V the Lion 3peat side would have been an awesome game.
