  • These guys are fantastic. I loved them when they were just on the scene back around 1982. Anybody know how to get in contact with any of them??

  • "Hollywood Hong Kong Swing" is basically the same song as "Hong Kong Swing," but it's different in many ways, including said guitar solo.

  • You have got to love that guitar solo... this band were just so full of energy and deserved far more success. Great to see it posted...

  • Thank you SO much for posting this stuff..I've been watching a waiting for YEARS...any chance of 'Oceans'??

  • If only on the evidence of this solo Colm is one of the greatest guitarists in rock'n'roll!!!! Whatever happened to that guy??

  • why is the fourth guy missing from the picture? also: i'm the bassist's second cousin.

  • From what I gather there was a long term on going row with their drummer. Apparently he ran off with the masters.

  • That's probably why he's missing from the photo

  • I'm in contact with Philomena and Colum who have suffered a long term battle with their former drummer for access to the master tapes.

According to information from them Roy Wood played drums on most of the tracks... and seeing that they do not wish to have ANY connection with him I decided to edit him out of the photo.

  • I'd love to get in touch with Philomena or Colum - any chance you could put me in touch?

  • @billythehick Cause he did not have a stake in the Business or contribute to the songwriting!

  • Hey, Do you have their song : Those Two Dreadful Children? Wikipedia says they have performed that in The Dr. Demento Show way back when.. It would be awesom to see and hear that. :)

  • Excellent. Although it does make me want to watch The Goodies.

  • Proof of what an amazing guitarist Colum was and is. I just can't believe this band died such a premature death. Why?!? Was it lack of confidence? Behind the scenes politics? Whatever the case, it was a major musical tragedy.

  • a fantastic guitarist and one of the best ever Northern Irish rock voices in my opinion.

  • I love the glam boogie sound mixed with the Brian May guitars!

  • :) "Brian May guitars" - yeah Colum was/is obviously influenced by Brian May.

Have you heard the intro to "Hollywood Hong Kong Swing"?

  • Is it the same as "Hong Kong Swing"? If so, yes. If not, when ya gunna upload it? :)

Colum definitely has that harmonized old-school glam lead thing going.

As always, thanks for keeping things like this alive!
