You are such gentlemenn u brittish and modest, your Country is lovely, why are u so modest and humble over it,, I lived in Portsmouth and i loved it, Brittan is Beautyfull
@Helle1dscu Thanks Helle, that's very nice of you. That's just my British humour though, as far as London goes it is one of the better areas and lived in Finchley myself for 28 years. I stayed in Copenhagen and near Aarhus myself in 1974 and found Jutland was quite similar to our own countryside.
@mymusic777ify I quite agree- I've had one guy here saying Golders Green is rubbish, and wonder where he'd rather live instead. I used to go walking in Coldfall Wood a lot when I lived near there and would move back to HGS/NW11 straight away if I had the money to.
@satguru I like it,it has changed over the years but still very charming,if you get to go you ought to go in spring or autumn, just lovely.i lived in the house right next to the entrance of the park from creighton avenue.I miss the plass all the time
@BrainDamageEclips I lived in neighbouring N2 for 28 years, and had many activities there, including a few years working in Muswell Hill Youth Club, as well as taking my barmitzvah in Tetherdown. Many memories.
yes ive noticed that about the actural road that goes down the hill have u ever tired to walk up that road its like walking up mount evereat but good vid
Thanks Charlie, I don't think I ever have, I've driven up it most of my life as my grandma lived in Ilford till I was 15, but haven't done much more than walking across or once under it when I found the tunnel last year for the first time.
Thanks Rob, it was really nice seeing all my past coming back to me as well, I lived a mile away from 1965-93 and still not very far away. I thought you must be local from the knowledge you had of London but discovered you'd planned it all from America- you did a good job on all the London videos.
The most boring tour ever

There's a house called Fairport at the N10 end of Fortis Green - I believe that's where Fairport Convention practiced and were named after.

The Clissold Arms has changed since we visited back in 2005 but the rest appears as before. Thanks for posting.
