I always used to love the old-school WWF matches :) For me, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan made it even more worth watching, they were hilarious at times

One of my favourite comments was in a BBM/Mountie match where the Mountie went up to the top and screamed 'Iiii'mm The Mouuunntie!' and Gorilla just said 'Oh here we go, it's the man with the identity crisis...'

Couldn't stop laughing. Especially when the Boss Man Powerslammed him off of the top rope. Brilliant.

I know, I watched back then. I wish things were like that today. It meant something to be a champion then, even IC champion. Sometimes you looked more forward to the IC title match than the WWF title. When guys like Bret / Perfect were battling over it, or Razor / Michaels, the belt looked great and was important enough to care about, like you said. The IC title match main-evented SummerSlam 92 and the match delivered. It'd be nice to see something like that today, but we won't.

I was at Kemper Arena in 2000 for a house show and was waiting outside as wrestlers arrived. When Bossman got out of the car I shouted for an autograph. He sneered, flipped me off, and walked right by me into the building. Still to this day my favorite memory of that day. Long live kayfabe!
