hey, did you know that barrier you had allows you to walk on water? That's why you lose it when you step back off the water. it's literally the only use i've found for it because there's no projectiles

Some may say this game sucks but I think it rocks. Only reason people don't like it is because Sonic Xtreme(spelled right?) didn't come out and there were only 5 levels.And the characters are kind of to highly powered.

SEGA did in 5 levels, with less than 10 characters and one unlockable Super character, what Nintendo failed to do with what, 6 racing games by now? They kept me INTERESTED in the game, made me realize the potential of the characters, gave me some more childhood nostalgia to work off of, came up with an AMAZING soundtrack, and made me want to play it over again to get the rest of the characters.

The results music hear after a race maybe be only 6 seconds long but its awesome and additive if you ask me. And I played ever song game but though the blue emerald was the best because Sonic was posing with it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl but i dont know.

I played this game on the Sonic Gems Collection for my gamecube and it's a pretty cool game all in all. The turning is a bitch and I wish there was more tracks but that's about it(I always played as Knuckles..They should make more Sonic racing games like SA2(but with more than 2 people playing at a time human or otherwise) instead of having them riding on boards.
