@CoDkiller1011 We packed it out on a back pack frame and on our shoulders. The meat turned out fine. If you drag it in the dirt- the dirt will stick to it and dry on it such that you'll have to "skin" the dirty meat off. The main two concerns are to get and keep the meat cool and to keep it clean as you can.
@bobby4268 It's about the same. There's just more of it. The important thing is to get it cool as soon as you can and keep it clean too. I would bring some cotton game bags. Not trash bags because of heat. Not news paper because it's impossible to get off. Cotton comes off and keeps it clean.
hy man it is a very good video keep up the good work, i never knew how to transport the meat without atv i always thought you need one to transport after hunt.
@gentelracer The California hippies that moved here outlawed using ATV's for retrieving game. Now we have to use horses or use a back pack.... well, I don't have horses any more ; )
Cool vid bud. Did you get one this year? I try to catch most of your vids. Keep up the good work. Hopefully I post a vid of a roosie this year

wat do you recommend for putting the meat in when i hike back? I don't think that I'll have horses or an Atv...

@bobby4268 Hang it up till it's cool to ambient temp or lower. Then pack it up in Heavy cotton sacks or t- shirts sewed into bags.

Nice. I might be going elk hunting soon and it looks way harder than gutting a deer. Great vid!
