@GrenGoddess Well... You see I study history, languages, and religions. I used to be quite agnostic in my attitude on life and my morals were pulled from my own beliefs of how life should be. This is one of the ways I know that morality does not need religion in order to exist as I was not "immoral" while I was like this. However, through my studies I found something quite interesting, attempted to walk in the shoes of those people without being around them, and felt what I think is God.
@GrenGoddess I could be wrong, but I could also be right. No one truly knows which makes things quite interesting. I personally believe in what I have found, however, from your perspective it could also be a way for me to psychologically cope with the severe to manic depression I was diagnosed with years ago. Either way it has helped me control and get very close to completely controlling said problem so whether it's all fantasy or it is in fact truth, I don't hurt people and I'm better now.

Well, you don't accept all the scriptures of other religions because most of the scriptures are not from God but unknown people quoting as they heard them from other people quoting, this kind of thing we call Hadith Or plural Ahadith and almost all the other books are falling into this category but the Qur'an is the purest word of God because God speaks through them the man Muhammad (S). Well, you don't accept all the scriptures of other religions because most of the scriptures are not from God but unknown people quoting as they heard them from other people quoting, this kind of thing we call Hadith Or plural Ahadith and almost all the other books are falling into this category but the Qur'an is the purest word of God because God speaks through them the man Muhammad (S). BTW, I think that strong agnostics are right by technicality as nothing is truly 'knowable'. But for practical purposes I consider an infinitely complex god less likely than complexity. So I'm an atheist.

actually the big bang is a misconception its not even something from nothing, its basically matter expanded from a extremely dense and hot state. atheism is one who does not believe in a deity other then that they do not have to subscribe to any other ideology, further a religious person may believe in evolution or the "big bang" theory if they wish
