@Mothor1995 Joe had a cool array of guitars. He only used a few of them, Les Paul, Flying V, Explorer and a couple Music mans. There were more behind his side of the stage. But what he used, he used well.
@Mothor1995 No major point. By your comment, you seemed to know a bit about guitars. So in case you weren't at that specific show, I was just letting you know about some of the other gear he used. Though I'm a drummer, I play and collect guitars. So I guess I'm a bit of a gear-head. Do you know anything about the over-sized Marshall cabinets Joe uses? Also, I have no clue what "ftw" means. If I did, maybe my previous response would have been more on point. Sorry about that.
@Mothor1995 Now I see why my original response was a bit off the mark. I dig Explorers. Have five of them. All are standard two pick-up models. But one is a transblack explorer pro with block inlays. My guitar player is certain I should give that one to him. Clearly he's a bit confised. :-)
@Mothor1995 A buddy of mine has a couple pre-lawsuit Ibanez guitars. I've never played the Ibanez Destroyers. Do their necks have a similar shape to the Explorers?
@wetdrums Hmm. It's very long time since i've played an Explorer, but im pretty sure they have similar shape. But diffently check the Destroyer out. Don't go for the new models of them of course. Try the x-series or all destroyers from the start of the 80' and too like 1986, those are the best in my opinion
