People evacuated and tried to come home and they were locked out of there apartments, yes this is true. I have lived here in new Orleans all my life as well as my families lives, having actually settled this area in the early 1600's. They take peoples land and give it to rich corporates, as they done with my grandfathers land and plantation at Belle Isle, where the largest salt find was discovered as well as vast oil reserves. Peivate property is a thing of the past.

When we as a family decided not to return to New Orleans it was because of a lack of trust in the government agencies paid by our tax dollars to protect us.Having seen this video and observing the spirit of those who chose to stay and fight to make things better one day at a time ,I'm in ther process of re-evaluating my initial thought process.I live in the Dallas metroplex and hate it as much as I love home.I realize that I'd rather live at home improving it than die here doing nothing.
