Superb, smooth, flowing Tai Chi and very interesting since it is one of the closest forms on You Tube to the form taught by Dr. Scott Vander Ploeg here in Kentucky. I could never get that deep in snake creeps down and then get back up at my old age. Very fluid performance that is in a great looking setting.
No offense, and I don't wanna look like a troll or hurt anyone, but there's no such thing as Shaolin Taiji. There are two main types of wushu: QiGong and Shaolin, QiGong would be any type that uses Qi (Chi), but Shaolin would be any that uses more physical force. Taijiquan is a type of QiGong. A more correct title would be QiGong Taiji. Once again, no offense. :P
@SiddTheFrickingNayak ~ Good point ... but, a lot of the times, the styles are assumed. The Chen Style is akin to Shaolin, and is assumed as the form with the monks unless expressly otherwise noted.
@SiddTheFrickingNayak I think he called it Shaolin Taiji because he is performing it in front of the Shaolin Monastery entrance. Or maybe not... 说不清楚。
@qiankundanuoyi1 you are right, it is shao lin shi. but i still think this video is nothing, and this monk is not well trained at all. I recommend master Chen Xiaowang
@qiankundanuoyi1 Hi! Thank you for your comment. I thought that Chen Tai Chi and Northern Wu style use the back power; you don't consider these styles as real Tai Chi? What do you consider as real?
no such thing as shaolin tai chi the only internal forms are rou quan and xin yi ba anything name 24 step or 24 movements is more like someone made it up into a wushu form if you know what wushu is looks like youve been duped

Every students in China can play this 24 step taiji. It's nothing.
Look at the temple behind him. It's not shaolin.

lol, this is just a poor version of Yang style tai chi...actually it's not too bad if you fix his feet and get him to lower his elbows

He is not using the power of his back...
