I had a yellow one aswell thought it was ugly, but your paint is very good, i recomend a yoshi pipe, transforms the sound mate seriously! i also swaped my bikes sprockets and made it take off faster! didnt need the top end as much
Nice man I got same bike is the alarm trust worthy as I heard bad reviews about this alarm is it good or bad as I might be getting one what do you recommend me with please get back to me thanks cool video
hi. Got my Hyosung GT 650 R 2010 less than a month ago. Bought that exact same cyclone alarm after seeing your cool vid. I hooked up the alarm myself. Except, no idea how to get the IGNITION wiring to the relay to work. Could you help? Oh, and the alarm fuse is 15 Amps, but my ignition relay says 20 Amps on it. So how exactly do you solve that problem? Add a relay? ... ? Cheers.
hi i got a hyosung 2008, wondering if you got a answer yet, if so how does the remote start work, if you go the wheel lock how will it work without key.
@SonicXStyle Hi, you can still start the bike if the key is in the Wheel Lock position, but you will need the key to unlock the wheel lock. I just leave mine unlocked and use a brake disc lock instead
@keithrob100 me :-) its my first bike and its served its purpose well and never broken down at all or had any engine or parts problems.....apart from a few headlights blowing
@marcsutyou yes, admittedly, its a bit on the low side. this is my first bike though and im just using it for learning. please see my new video, as ive changed the exhaust and a few other bits. Im also re-jetting the carbs on sunday :-)
fair play to you mate but the alarm telling you to remember to turn the alarm is a bit crap! however the remote start is wicked im looking at putting one on a 7/12 iv just built
Very very impressive mate, i'm having my kawasaki ninja resprayed (zxr400) on tuesday, no where near as nice as that, just a nice metallic black after it was vandalised a few weeks ago scratching all my fairings and cracked engine casing; how did you manage to afford a full respray with customised things on it? very nice!
attempting to respray the frame on my zxr myself, after paying for the fairings to be done i want the frame too, but low on cash now :)
hi there mate, i just bought the c11 alarm myself but having difficulty fitting it, is there any soldering required and do i have to cut any important wires?
you dont need to cut any important wires. you just need to bridge the ignition wire to enable the remote start. there is no soldering, u just connect it to the battery
hi mate, yes it is the Cyclone C11 alarm system. About the battery....... i have recently been out of the country and have had my bike sat still for 2 and a half months with the alarm on. that did kill the battery......... but that was 2 and a half months without starting the bike at all!! I have had it sat still for 3 weeks before and its started first time. so i can say over the time period of 3 weeks, its fine. leave it longer than 1 month, i cant really say wen it will kill your battery! HTH
no worries! yea, £25 is a real bargain, i take it your looking on ebay yea?? if so i can give you the ebay shop i got mine from, or there offical website...but you will pay an extra £2 on there website. the alarms are great! and they are AMAZINGLY sensitive too. my bike, you can tap the fairing with your finger and it will set off the warning (on levle 5 setting, 1 being the least sensive and 5 being the highest)
you get a lot of bang for your buck with this alarm :-)
very nice looking bike, as previously stated i have the hyosung gt250r, currently on the 33bhp license as i was only 20 when i did the test (didnt know they were holding off the new test...) anyway the more i ride my bike the more i keep considering the gt650r as a next bike, whats the 0-60 and top speed like on the bike? does it ride like a sports bike or a sport tourer?
do a video on the alarm install???? nice graphics mate, i have a 650r aswell, good bike for the money and suprises a lot of bigger bikes when i had it at the track, paul
erm, i can try and do a video of the layout of the alarm with the bike naked....... ill try, am sorry for the last reply ive been away on buisness for 2months
I have the hyosung gt250r which is near enough the same as the 650 but with a smaller engine, just a quick question, how did you manage to get the hand/grab rail off? i've tried but the allen bolts are tight! Its quite difficult to losen
hmmmm mine were not tooo difficult to losen. All i can say is, keep trying, or maybe take it to your local garage and they should be able to use air powered tools to remove the bolts.
I had a yellow one aswell thought it was ugly, but your paint is very good, i recomend a yoshi pipe, transforms the sound mate seriously! i also swaped my bikes sprockets and made it take off faster! didnt need the top end as much

dyson101101 2 years ago
Hey, nice bike.
I have a similar bike, the Hyosung GT250 (2007). It has the old speedo and tacho (not digital).
I recently installed the cyclone C11 but had a few probs...
I have 2 questions, maybe you could ask martin for me:
1) How can i switch on the bikes electrical system together with the remote engine start?
2) Why does the fuse blow everytime i switch the key to 'On' while the engine is running (started from the remote start).
Thanks,
Chris

Thankyou for the kind comments buddy!
Your Ninja will look sweet in a nice Metallic black, but its a shame your even having to do it! Bloody vandals!!
To be honest mate, all that customizing didnt cost that much...
I took had to get some fairing repaired after a small crash at 10mph......trying to pull a wheelie after riding for 2 weeks lol!!
so i got fairing repaired and a new full respray of a custom colour £420
Custom Graphics made and fitted £55
Indicators £20
Not too much really.
