This is Thad's band. How cool that they played a Neal Hefti arrangement. Amazing playing by Jon Faddis! One of the greatest.

@brian740 Yeah, I think he joined his band when he was 18, allen vizzutti complimented him on the maturity of his sound at such a young age.

Phenomenal chops!!!
Still plenty o' Diz in Jon's horn, back then, showing up esp near the end of this really nice ballad.
Once again, great concert footage, showing the band at its' best!
