  • Graham's effort in the Gundam 00 movie was awe inspiring and the only way it could have been more Japanese was to have the Japanese Flag strapped to his mech.

  • Were those two even important?

  • LMFAO Everyone's complaining about this and defending it and its like no one fucking saw what the fuck happened in Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) does no one remember what happened when Lalah died? This is nothing compared to that.

  • So dead people go to heaven by motorcycles?

  • @Insomnia1234o00o

    Hell, sign me up.

  • what did i just watch? I"m actually very confused on this

  • Not entirely surprised that this went over a lot of people's heads...

  • Epic Fail

  • I wonder how many people went...WTF after this was over

  • Some one needs to sit down and watch Ideon.

  • @Higurashiwing93 EVERYONE DIES!

  • @Neane1993 THE UNIVERSE DIES!!!!!

  • @Neane1993

nahhhhh they got shiped to the voltron verse.

  • @Higurashiwing93 Ideon is an awesome movie, I suggest everyone to watch this film, I have to admit I like gundam anime but Ideon be invoked has been one of this film you must watch for everything, tomino is an excellent director, anyone has decide to be a kill em all after him.

  • Whatever sympathy Iqq and Randa managed to wring out of me with their deaths is diluted by the fact that they're both zealots in their work.

Iqq/Renda: "We shall evolve the world with this battle!"

*remove atmospheric battleship's usefulness by half through making it landbound*

Me: You don't deserve this world! *smirks when odelo shoots them*

  • does anyone have the song that is sung when the dead people are on the bikes, I have been searching for it for AGES!!!!

  • @tHeWasTeDYouTh This I think. ひなげしの旅のむこうに

  • Not the worst montage ever. On another note, I thought this was going to be a montage of all the deaths in Victory Gundam, but was skeptical when I saw that this video wasn't one-tenth as long as it would need to be for that to be the case. >.<

  • He shouldve done this for Odelo Odelo and the last 3 members of the Shrike team (although they had it worse)' deaths were so skipped over. As if Tomino just ran out of time and forgot about them.

    Spoiler:

Odelo's Death = Gets into fight with Katejina, fight interupted, katejina seriously damages his gunblastor, odelo has a brief right before death dialouge momment, gunblastor explodes, elischa cries. Next scene.

Come on seriously, these people get a motorbike fantasy and Odelo gets nothing?

  • stop hating v gundam

  • @animefanx04x

At what point was it ever made that the uploader hated victory gundam?

  • "Hey guys I have an awesome idea: Let's make a near-suicidal man write anime. This cannot possibly go wrong."

To be fair, it eventually gets so insane that it hits the point of comedy.

  • the last picture (inside the house) is unclear and i didn't understand it, can anybody tell what is happening there ???

  • @zerax7 thats the place where they wanted to live in after the war is over.

  • haro sound horrible in this series, Uso has the uglist hairdo, most childish attitude, worst voice of all protagonists in gundam history, he's simply too young to take lead role of an anime series, shakti and the noisy baby are always missing and off someplace attempting something stupid, perverted women keep flirting with a little boy.

  • katz death was the best and most enjoyable death in zeta. Most happiest moment of anime when he died

  • Tomino was in a raging depression from zeta all the way to this series.

  • this is probably one of the most depressing anime's ever. every time i watch it im just like fuck me, come on tomino he went over kill with the deaths

  • @thefatman69dude the most depressing anime ever was 0080: War in the Pocket. At least this one had more action.

  • fucking every one......fucking everyone dies in this series lol. this gundam was so damn depressing

  • I think it's supposed to be an analogy for their souls going off to..wherever they go after dying and finding peace..or something. It's still freakin' wierd, though.

  • Shit Tomino was REALLY pushing it this time. Yeah I get it: War is hell. But holy shit dude....

  • well fuck this... i lost my reason to live good bye world if tomino gonna fuck gundam i would rather commit suicade

  • 'renda, are you alright?'

  • ...the fuck?

  • i don't think they were trying to make it sad. just to make it look like they are happy now.

  • I liked it...

  • sad

  • oh,wonderful end for those two.flying off in a magic bike and stopping at a peaceful house.u cant wish for anything better than that.....well except for a wish of escaping alive in a slaughter-fest like V gundam

  • I think you kinda overdid it.

If you think about it, it looks like its their way of passing into heaven.

  • Tomino always alternated between happy and sad shows. Anyone who says it started with Turn A has no clue what they are talking about.

  • they never say Space runaway Ideon and all the toddler decapitation.

  • @BillyCauseyjr yeah but I don't remember all the toddlers having weird death montages made from crack hell.

  • I swear Tomino was trying to kill off the series when he made Victory Gundam

  • he was so unhappy when the same year surise merge with bandai

  • @swiftninja i know but i play the Dynasty Warrior gundam games and next plus Victory Gundam gives me someone to camp lol *V-Gundam* (I fight for the true ceatures of life women) *me or Herro* ill kill you.

  • @swiftninja He was somewhat trying to. Not only was he depressed, as always, he was pissed that Bandai and some higher level company owners were telling him how to create the show. He was one of a select few at Sunrise who did not want to be bought out by Bandai.

  • @swiftninja

Wow, I completely agree with you. Tomino probably wanted to kill off the U.C. Gundam saga with Victory Gundam at the time.

  • @swiftninja Sunrise was bought by Bandai and he was against it, then they fucked up the way he wanted to make the series

  • @swiftninja rumors say that and with flying motorcycles I would have to agree

  • @swiftninja dude was probably off his face with Grief and meds like he was for the end of Zeta. that said he did include a written apology in the season box set for V Gundam explaining that he disliked it.

  • @swiftninja He kind of was.

  • @swiftninja - Sorry, two year old comment and all, but he was. He has openly stated that V Gundam was done during one his most depressed eras and that he absolutely hated the commercialization of the franchise. His hope was that through these sorts of scenes and the pointless (and cruel) deaths of the Shrike Team, the entire franchise would be boycotted.

  • @kirant Tomino only prize wons was that this series was very dark and a lot of people decide to watch more episodes, I have not accepted the Shrike Team had awful deaths. But the drama of this series was high. I still want to watch the next gundamUC ovas, gundam UC despite not being a kill them all series is very good.

  • @swiftninja From what I've read, that's exactly what he was trying to do, as he was both sick of sales-obsessed producers and struggling through depression at the time.

  • @dr4c0blade I think more than anything he actually just wanted to be taken off as the director of the gundam franchise. He didn't want to direct anymore gundam shows, at least for a while. plus as you stated he was going through depression.

  • @swiftninja Tomino didn't want the series getting whored out...solution?? kill em all lol

  • Zanscare is a rip-off of Revolutionary France. The symbolism is extremely annoying, especially with the guillotine and imaginary stuff. The only thing I really praise V Gundam for are the Mobile Suits. Other than that, it's a Don Bluth film, acid-trip, cliched drama, and robot anime conglomerated into a single Gundam series.

  • Uh -huh-...

  • You do realize he really, really hated working on Victory right? Basically Bandai forced him to churn out a Gundam series and he was really depressed. I got the impression all the silliness was an attempt to sabotage his own work.

  • Yeah, but why was Tomino so sad in the first place? Anyway, 6 years later he came with his "happy" part. Where neither Brain Power'd nor Turn A Gundam weren't that silly at all.

  • A large chunk of his depression has to do with the Bandai Sunrise merge and prioritizing toys so basically Gundam from then on became even more blatant merchandise driven show. Also Bandai's executive meddling on several of his Gundam shows limited him as well.

  • I thought that he wanted to do Victory Gundam, but they forced him to change up how he wanted everything to go (Most of the show was going to be on earth, there weren't going to be motorcycle battleships, and they switched up the order of his episodes just to show V Gundam in the first episode,)

  • Well, you know, Loran actually -did- kill Gym, along with a few other mooks, and, really, the happiness factor was a result of Tomino not being depressed. What, you wanted another slaughter-fest?

  • I'll take that as a yes, then...

  • but it doesn't piss Tomino off

  • I haven't watched Turn A yet, so i'll have to come back and have at you later.

  • If I may:

    Xabungle.

Happy Tomino was around well before Turn A.

  • Oops, I forgot about that one, it was like a recovery for Tomino fans after watching Ideon.

  • Don't forget L-Gaim and Galient. Those are two of Tomino's best.

  • No one died at the end of L-Gaim but it was still a pretty downer ending.

  • Yeah, there wasn't much of a 'challenge' to it.

  • HAYATE NO YOUUUUNIIIIII! ZABUNGURU! ZABUNGURU!

God, that show is the funniest thing in mecha. Even IF the sight of Bright vs Oranges is permanently burned into my mind.

  • I think Tomino wanted to end the franchise with Char's counter attack and not have any of the spinoffs.

  • that would've been nice

  • @JessieandtheGiantFis i am glad that im not the only one. i noticed alot of major plot holes in it to

  • anyone know where you can get the song shaki sings but at the end of the series when she is in Angel Halo, it is the one that starts at 2:15 but its really good

  • what is this...i don't even

  • O_O W...T...F...H!? This is just weird.

  • WHAT?

  • Okay. So, I'm supposed to feel sad for the death of two evil cretins who were wholesale slaughtering the population of Earth with a fleet of motorbike battleships. I'm supposed to think they weren't so bad after all.

Excuse me if I completely agree with Odelo here, Mr. Kill-Em-All Tomino.

  • Bit of both, isn't it?

what with " I was too impulsive. " and " But you attacked first." in the same breath, and all.

  • @JudauAshita And now, They're going to attack earth angels with a bike, OMG It's the end of the world like we know it !
