  • Must of needed a paycheck pretty bad eh boy? Just sayin!

  • Must have needed a pay check pretty bad to do this eh guys? Just sayin

  • Yeah this commercial is pretty fucked up for god sakes it could have at least had a better script if they were going to be so stereotypical in the first place.

  • this is one fucked up commercial... if i were those guys i would refused to shoot this commercial... money is not worth it, if it's going to degrade you, your race, dignity and pride. and i don't find this commercial to be funny one bit

  • Sad to see this, they standing bobbing like that. Why did he do this AD? Is he that hard up for the money?

  • There's more stereotypes in this clip than you can see easily. There are gender and sexuality stereotypes too. Overall culturally American Indians are probably better left alone and not assimilated into television culture, which is reciprocal, most people don't notice this. It seems normal.

  • lmao that was hilarious! Everyone needs to calm the fuck down. It wasn't meant to be offensive I think it was meant to be funny.

  • Rick sold out

  • Rick sold out

  • Totally agree with hwiseman

  • Rick, it's like putting on blackface and losing respect for oneself to sell a product benefiting someone outside the AA community - namely, corporate entities that don't give a damn. Or the Hispanic equivalent. We are selling their poison for them, against us. Of course, we all have to pay bills and I'm not discounting truth....however, there comes a time when we no longer portray ourselves as their ugly mascots. I hate to say it, but the word is "sacrifice." But I do see your point.

  • Every nationality has not been Genocide to the tune of 150 Million dead or their children stolen from them for over 100 years. Nor does every nationality have a 250 time higher suicide rate amongst their youth. Rick Mora isn't even Native, he's Italian.

  • @harderindian How do you know if he (Rick Mora) is native or not? Were you in the same place as his parents when he was born? Now, i'm not trying to push you here, i'm just trying to get a better understanding. And besides It's best not to judge somebody's backround just by assuming something it is so. If you want to for sure just ask. Rick Mora knows who he is.

  • it is just male culture have a beer and look at females.and say a few things.some of you overreact to this commercial like it was supposed to be innocent and sweet kind of ad.it could be any race....at least they are not promoting satan or porn.it's just beer.the ones who are watching this video and offended.i can lightly tap them with a tuning fork and they would get hella jolt...that is how sensitive they are.

  • Comment removed

  • @CaskeyLee17 yes you are right and i totally agree with you....and further on it's like a religious or a juvenile just logged in and felt like browsing videos and found this special kind of beer video out of nowhere and just went off buckwild!LMAO!

  • dude o.0

  • I think you all have right, no matter you are pro or contra about this video. I say yes because I trust Rick Mora and his point of view. I am sure he wouldn't have accepted the offer to play in this thing if he had thought it is offensive.

I see ten million white alcoholists every day cos I am a doctor. When I see a beer commercial with white people I am not too happy, but I don't think it hurt anyone. They just try to sell a product, that's all.

  • way way over the line! how shameful for your family to be such a twisted sell out!!!!!!...

  • way way over the line! how shameful for your family to be such a twisted sell out!!!!!!

  • Digusting and Degrading. It dehumanizes my ancestry. As it insults his.

  • @harderindian just cool it...you sound like you are about to explode.every nationality advertises beer.the bar scene is not a cult gathering.it's friendly and it should not be taken offensively.

  • Insulting to name a beer Indian for starters; insulting to portray Indians acting like they're in a bar. The reality is a lot uglier and deadly.

  • This my Friends is quite an insult. This is sad and shows what other country's think of Native Americans. "How White Man. Drink em this fire water and make fun of us for the tragedy of alcoholism has on our people". You say it's funny and i think to some people, it could be. Myself on the other hand (and i'm sure a lot of the Native America population would agree) do not find it amusing.

  • Hi. Guys, you missed the point. It is a nice and funny commercial. Repeat after me: F-U-N-N-Y!!! People usually laugh at funny things, right? I myself laughed myself to death about it, twice. :-)

I don't understand americans. What the hell is your problem with Natives? And, you can't name at least 2 or 3 Native American actors? Why are you hurting them?

White people are the most disgusting creatures on earth

when they are drunk. Leave the Natives alone, please.

    (PS: I am white too.)

  • i love actors but i don't agree with this alcohol is shit and destroyed many native people in a world. wake up men ! scuze for my bad english. Kama

  • and to think we bitch and moan about racist sports mascots ...our own long house isn't in order ...

  • native american beer? yummm...made from twigs.

  • kooff \m/

  • It would be funny if the commercial never happened. Not only does this commercial proliferate stereotypes of indigenous peoples in the unyielding grip of alcoholism, but also on the front of loud monotone syllable speaking peoples that only exist in the golden age of television & movies, which were always played by Anglos. I get the gist, it's seamed like a great idea. Myself and thousands more are sober, represent us right, if you don't know how, don't do it at all. Seriously Indian beer?

  • actors need work. If the commercial had three Irish dudes in it would It be offensive. We all know about the Irish and drink. Alcoholism is everywhere. Don't be hard on these actors. The commercial was funny as it was meant to be

  • I believe that this commercial is an insult to all your people, with this spot it seems that all the natives do nothing ohter but get drunk

  • keep doing ur thing rick mora! these people just hate the fact that u are a big achiever!!

  • Wow. You guys realize that you are tryin to bring logic to a humorous beer commercial, trying to win an argument in the internet and change the world in the comment section of a youtube-video? That's like running in special olympics while raping a kitten and killing a puppy. Twice. It's people like you that make this world the steaming pile of shit it is today. Shame on you.

  • Ok, let me clear something up for you. This commercial is one of 4-5 from the same series. The others take a pretty good piss on the finnish man so dont worry that this was made to digrade the Native Americans in any way. All of these comercials have the same plot, guys stand arround siping beer an shouting to girlfriends/wifes/women like they were in a bar. Besides the finnish men in these look like total loosers when the Native American men are damn hot!

    So cheers from Finland!

  • Yeah.. that's all we need is an Indian beer. Put down the bottle and stop walking the black road!

  • Stop your fucking excuses this disgusting I am in Switzerland and will bust your fuck heads in if you think this cool or exceptable.. you will see I will but a stop to this and find the piece of shit that did this, if you want to see me just comment back and I will meet you anywhere in Geneva Kerry KICKAHOLE in your fuck in head AHAHAHAHHHHHHhh

  • This is some bull shit...all for a little bit of scratch, how stupid is that.

  • stupid ad . . . you guys ...come on, really...

  • Koff Beer is acting in a Racially Prejudiced manner..This piece of Crap needs taken off the air!

  • Not my favorite ad ever. As a Native American man I do not like the associations that are implied by this as and the product it represents. I do, however, understand that acting jobs are not always easy to come by, and actors need to pay the rent too. I'd never buy this product, but I'm not going to condemn the actors for making the ad.

  • SAD

  • Well I see/read some comments, especially movie marcus. It is offensive, but the worst offense is using our Sacred Lakota language for this ad. Firewater is a white mans poison, if these guys would use their own language, I don't care. But if they are using ours Movie marcus, you are so blind, and typical european.

  • Such bad taste...I will be boycotting CARLSBERG now.

  • Alcohol doesn't recognize my race. I recognize alcohol as a personal choice. I recognize the damage and destruction it has caused to Natives by personal use and their personal choice, I find nothing offensive about this ad. It doesn't refer to past problems with Native Americans and Canadians, nor does it degrade. I see 3 guys having a beer in a spoof - ad using Aboriginal actors in Aboriginal historical motif. I thought it was amusing. Cheers.

  • Selling yourself and your culture out to pay your rent, good one! You need to open your eyes, yeah alcoholism chooses no race, but the history of the American Indian and alcohol isn't as cut and dry. Might want to go back to your community and talk to some people who know the true history of how alcohol and colonization has affected our people before trying to defend your actions with faux-indian pride to enforce a negative stereotype.

  • @say2k

    Well said!

  • Omg Rick u look so delucious. Me justaria probarlo ;)

  • trop lol rick mora est trop bo j'ai ate d'allé au canada pr le voir :O enfin j'espère lol !! jme demande quel gou qsa aussi

  • rick mora is the hottest! he is so damn fine!!! i could f* him for a year non stop!! jajajaj!!!!!

  • It seems so well executed that i'd be amazed if it offended anyone (anyone who's opinion on the subject matters).

    Tat's just how humor works.

  • all I looked at were the guys...oh well somethings never change!

  • to nunuvyurbiz

this is exactly why i thought this commercial was offensive. I'm not native american and i've never lived on a reservation but I know that alchol has destroyed many families that do live there. All people have to do is research inorder to understand why this wouldn't be looked at as funny.

  • @Neonrain10029 my boyfriend is native american, and his father never drank, because he didn't want to support the stereotype. It's kinda like heiniken in a way, and people say irish are drunks.

  • why not put a picture of a middle eastern who is really an "Indian"? Alcohal destroys familys and relationships on Reservations, believe me ive grown up on two of them...........therefor i do not support this, honestly my heart was racing the 1st time i saw it, i was so angry......

  • @nunuvyurbiz Hey Buddy Relax This is a Satirical commercial not about indians but about GEEKS at the BAR (Parody) pretending to be cool Bobbing their heads to whatever music.

the Indian Chick is not Native American but from INDIA and part of the JOKE.

even what he to the "waitress" is Typical of what Geeks Say at the bar.

and KOFF is a German Word means "HEAD" as in Headress or (Indian Head LOGO)

Beer commercials always make this kind of satirical commercials.

    now YOUR QUE: LAUGH!

  • @Mapanatl

koff is no german word you mean KOPF! im austrian german speaker.....

  • what? really?

  • I like the look the woman gave them..thats about the look I gave guys when I watied tables lol

  • I thought it was funny...it made him seem more human... and even more attractive... who knew that was possible !!

  • I know there's that whole stereotype about Native Americans being alcoholics, but I didn't think for a scnd that this cmmercial reinforced that. I thought it ws gret to see the anachronism with his behavoir/the beer w/ the girl (and in the other versions, w/ other people). I just thought it was this guy, chilling with his friends, drinking a beer, and waiting for the ladies getting that 'bar feeling', like any other guy from anywhere in the world. They just chose Indians b/c it's Indian beer.

  • Comment removed

  • ha! i love how they're all stading around, bobbing to no music.

the lady walks away like "wtf".

    this made me laugh.

  • I personally found it funny, I understand using Native Americans as mascots are terrible in most cases because of the past we Native Americans had, this just makes it hilarious however because only they are being ridiculous as the woman just leaves all confused. lol

  • YEAHHH!!!!! i would do this commerical in an instant. YO heres a cold one to all my peoples and get that bar feeling

  • I'm sorry, I find this commercial in poor taste because I don't approve of using native people as mascots and because of the stereotes of the 'drunken Indian.'

  • We finns are native people. Sorry for being a racist!

  • No Finns are Huns

  • You do understand that you just stated that Finns are not Huns? Learn English before you try to use it :D

  • Hate to burst your fin bubble but you're no native. This is about Native Americans.

  • Finns are native people in Finland. We have allways been here.

  • I guess you just don't get it do ya? If you listen to the language it's Lakota and not Finnish. Sheesh, quit trying to be something you're not.

  • As a native-It's funny

There is just as much alcoholism off the Rez as on it. I live on a Rez.

  • i know our history very well, and i fine this very funny.

  • if u know only a bit their history it's not funny ...

  • THAT IS SO FUCKED UP!!! There is no way my kids would have even considered doing this ad!

  • Oh I knew it! It was coming. Because of the perception of casinos enriched tribal members, company advertisers are marketing to Native Americans alike they sell products to Blacks, Hispanics, etc. Like the BET network, Telemundo or Univision, and Asian language stations in the L.A. area (not far from where I live). Now why they wanna sell liquor with Native Americans on the ad? It kinda enforces negative stereotypes of them as drunk, although alcoholism is frequent on many Indian reservations. +

  • It's advertised as "indian beer" for the simple reason that it's made from maize. A cereal that I believe to be native from the Americas (so the traditional staple of quite a few tribes Native Americans). No need to see bad thoughts or racisme in this.

  • Also the "that bar feeling" is a recurent joke in Koff beer ads (just have a little search on youtube, and you will see)

  • Although alcoholism isn't a funny thing with the Native people,or any people for that matter. The commercial is funny, and at least some hot native brothers got some work out of it..

    In Spirit

    Wind Flower

  • You are right, Rick..

we all gotta pay our rent! And we all have to learn to laugh more..This commercial was really funny and out of the usual stereotypes because was played by true Native Americans. Would be very different if the actors were dressed up whites..I work in fashion biz and I know too damn well how is difficult to survive!

  • Hehehe, we all love it when he's feisty!

<3 Rick! You tell em, man! Bev's gotcha back!

I have to agree with him, kids. It's personal choice and to bash the group based on one man's decisions is...well...acting in the very manner of those you hate the most and I say that in a very caring way.

Besides, this commercial seems a more fun upbeat type thing rather then a bunch of wife-beating ruffians.

  • lift ur shoe from the pedal, u r beeing too-fuckin-selfish now

  • open your eyes.

we all gotta pay our rent.

would you rather they dress up a white man?

  • true dat

  • @nativerickmora007 haah atta be my brother haha the white's dont understand how hard it is for us

  • lol maybe they are Findians :D

  • Thats F*** up!! and they actually got Natives to do this?! They can't pay me no amount of those green papers to do something like this.

  • I must say for all those who express so much discontent for this commercial, please consider this thought...

Alcoholism chooses no race. All mankind is affected by this disease...Red,black,white,yellow!!

Second, There used to be a time when they used the white man to play native talent and this commercial involved very famous native actors who all struggle for the few jobs a year that surface. Its a tough choice...Feast or Famine.

  • Comment removed

  • @nativerickmora007 That's true! When i was in 5th grade my entire class did a play, Annie Get Your Gun, and my director decided to have a pale-skinned(i don't want to be racist) girl as Chief Sitting Bull. I was a little shocked that he'd do that considering that she was in fact not Native at all.

  • I do too!

  • Ajo! Alcohol still plagues the reservatiions today. It is a very sad disease. The casinos who vowed to help those rezzes have not followed through.

  • WOW THOSE GUYS ARE HOT

  • wtf

  • strange commercial. But I don't think there will a similar one with jewish. I mean natives americans and alcohol, not a joke, after all that have happened. Republic of Lakota!bye

  • Ya some people may say its just a commercial...but thats the same as saying oh its just a mascot....This is disgraceful..this is just keeping the stereotype that all natives are just alcoholics. If we ever want to lose that stereotype we cant go around making stupid commercials like these...We have to do bigger and better things like showing images of educated natives, not dressed up in old style native clothing and drinking beer. This commercial is ridiculous!

  • the whites are be hind this because they want to keep us under there thumb

  • This is a Finnish commercial. There are no native Americans in Finland. This has nothing to do with native Americans but rather marketing a new brand, called "Indian". Don't get offended over nothing.

  • Loving it! Hello friend....

  • Too funny!! Love thiz commercial...

  • that spot absolutely rocks! i love it!

  • rick mora on left

    william elk on right

  • @nativerickmora007

neither one of you guys are Lakota ... why are you disrespecting?

  • It's hard to tell if I recognize the others or not. It's too fuzzy.

  • who is who? what are their names? I know who David Midthunder is, but what about the other two?

  • Funny Dave David used to be a counselor at a rehab program..... Now he is promoting alcohol.....

  • you mean David Midthunder? he's the only one I recognize, but my computer makes it fuzzy so I can't tell about the others. Who are they?

  • myspace dot com/nativerickmora

  • It's a tough concept for humor, but once you get what they were after over there in Finland I think the actors did a great job. Very funny. The main Indian, David Midthunder, is also the actor that's in Commanche Moon right now.

  • This video just goes to show how some uneducated perceive Indian's to be, and it also shows just what some Indians have to do to make a living even if degrade who they are. Truly sad that some see this as entertainment.

  • It's a commercial for heavens sake.

You would find it funny aswell if you had seen the other similiar commercials before this.

I don't see how this could be offensive anyway though.

  • It`s still a bit guiet here, but it`s gonna get busier. evening! we`ll have another round of beers and check the menu later.thanks!

    that bar feeling.

  • Damn...those men are FINE!

  • Why do you think that because you're native it's okay to be amused by it? Alcoholism is pretty serious and if you saw how it really affects families, you wouldn't think it was so funny. Or maybe you would.

  • i am native american and this is pretty damn funny

  • I like [Talks A Lot]He has the same name as me. Tracy Lane[Talks A Lot]

  • I'll keep this under my favorites"laugh my ass off"cause their good looking Indian Men".TracyLane

  • That's funny because where I live, there is a huge problem with indians and alcohol.

  • "That's funny because where I live, there is a huge problem with indians and alcohol."

The correct way to spell is Indians with a capital I... D.A's But then again your statement showed just how intelligent you truly are.

  • Have you ever been to Pine Ridge? Can you not pick up on sarcasm?

  • This is the best Koff commercial ever!!! I wonder who got this great idea and who found these gorgeous Native Americans for the commercial! ;) Tomorrow I gonna go and buy this Indian Beer wohoo!! :P

  • thats fucked up

  • Its a part of a chain of commercials with the same idea but different settings. They made something exotic for the finnish market and tried to make an exotic commercial. It should be viewed in a finnish context.
