The Awsome song I have ever heard for several years! May ALMIGHTY ALLAH SWT give his soul rest in paradise, Aameen. Proud of Sindhis and Pakistanis! Gone but not ForGotten!
I understand not the language, but need not. The feeling expressed by his beautiful singing speaks to my soul. We are One. Thank you to kalwar4utube for posting the translation. Does anyone know what the stringed instrument that he is playing is?
Allan Faqeer was a legend and emblematic for Pakistan. His rich and pure voice, wonderful and matchless rendition touches our hear strings. The words uttered from heart strike hearts. We are proud of this great singer.
Sufism ends here.. I wish i Could have helped him , when he was sick in Jamshoro, Benazir bhutto didnt do any thing for him when she was in power and we lost him... its a Big loss of SINDH
Thanks, u r right, I would like to do an addition in ur comment but infact Sassui has the role of a devotee, but the real devotee that Shah Sahab talking about is he himself who strived and faced hardness. He want to teach people to strive like him, surrending own wills to Almighty Allah. Beautiful translation you did brother, please keep doing, to let the message of sufi's reach whole humanity.
I can Recollect form my memories that Perhaps it was Late A.K.Brohi who had started the translation of the "Shah Jo Rasalo" (Back during the year 1963) which contains the Waii we are listening to; I wonder if some one from Sindh has an access to those translations could kindly put the translation of this "Waii" as so many ppl have requested.
GreeSufi! God bless you for uploading this beautiful soothing clip, never heard any thing like this before, one of the immortal heart rendering songs of gr8 Allan Fakir. Can some1 would do a favour by posting the translation of this Bhitai sahib's klam.
Amazing Allan, may God bless his soul, What a great poetic and Sufi Kalaam, "Mohnji Boli Allah" such a sweet language,....wow....so greatful to upload this video, Thank You...from...A sindhan in Pardess.
Please translate it; His voice is out of this world. Whatever he is singing is going straight into my heart. I do not understand what he is saying but his voice is fetching my soul out of my body and talking it to another world.

Translations (as much as I could understand of it):
1.
None should wish comforts for me,
(Because) only those, whose inner is cut into halves, can walk through the rocks,
I am already grieved and yet my comforts run away,
These two memorials had been in destiny of this poor soul.
My accent (of begging) is like of the hostage one,
Neither of an honored caste, I say, I am.
kalwar4utube 2 years ago 14
2.
Since childhood I bore the grieves,
Thus my skin is indwelled into aches.
My accent (of begging) is like of the hostage one,
Neither of an honored caste, I say, I am.
3.
Floating over the waves I came,
But the water didnt drown me.
My accent (of begging) is like of the hostage one,
Neither of an honored caste, I say, I am.
kalwar4utube 2 years ago 3
4.
Oh Sisters Shah Abdul Latif (the poet) says,
May the Most Honored (P.B.U.H) be with me there (in hereafter).
This translation can pour maximum 10% of the original words. May Allah help us to understand the pure soul meaning of it.
My accent (of begging) is like of the hostage one,
Neither of an honored caste, I say, I am.

Oh no one should envy the kind of pleasures I seek
Those whose inner is cut into halves only those can go across the rocks (Mountains)
The poetry is about Sassui who saw pains in the wilderness when she was searching her beloved Punhoon.
