Well, what I did was I just edited the joints and made it into the shape I wanted. The good thing is that once you do it the first time it can be used for other times as well.

Thanks for subbin and the key is just don't give up on an animation if you think it doesn't look that good at first, I thought at one point that this animation didn't look that great, but I didn't give up on it I kept on adding more and more to it and it turned out to be alot better than I expected!

Well, it really depends, if you were to make a change in every frame then yes, it would take quite a long time, but some people have more frames but some frames have little or no change in them. making things 3d is hard to and going back and editing stuff too if you want it to look really good.
