I dunno, it seems like electro music in the U.S. is slowly merging with R&B as horrible as the thought is. There is definitely separate scenes but I'm just worried about the future. I hope at the very least Europe keeps electro and house bouncin'.

Since the end of '70s discomusic era, US have always been behind in terms of dance music. In terms of production quantity, specialisation and especially promotion. dance music has never been a mainstream genre since that times. It's a matter of fact. So the 'Every song imaginable" you cited surely excludes thousands dance music songs from 1980 to present day.

@mystrtube Europe definitely produces a lot of dance music. And Dance music is more mainstream, but there are some great artists here in the US. My favorite being Kaskade. Head down to Miami for the next electronic music convention and see who shows up. A lot of talent here.
