  • It pains me to see how many people don't know the proper way to put on a lens, NEVER leave the camera with sensor side up without the lens on or cap, keep the sensor facing down or at least 90degrees to the ground this way dust and grime doesn't get into your camera as easily and your pictures will improve dramatically, once your mirror gets dirty it's very expensive to fix.

  • Great video man , I have the alpha A-390 and i am planning to buy a 70-200mm 2.8 , but i am confused between the sigma and this as many ppl say that the tamron has a slow autofocus but its sharper than than the sigma , can u help me plz .

  • @ShoubaBahri haven't try the sigma yet but i love my tamron copy!

  • @ShoubaBahri My father bought the sigma and I tried it on my a850 and couldn't believe how bad it was. Without even cropping you could easily see it wasn't clear and very bad color fringing. Now I'm thinking of getting the Tamron.

  • Do all the Sony features work on this lens? On all Tamron Lens? I mean, do Tamron Lenses and Sony Alpha bodies have compatibility issues?

  • @1ordrahovart no compatibility issue...

  • @wongjunhao Do Tamron ship to the Philippines?

  • @1ordrahovart no idea...

  • Does this lens work on sony alpha a55?

  • @X3meShare yes it does!

  • What cam is it you mounting it on?

  • @SteinkjerSkate sony a350

  • no free lens hood?

  • do you have a website that I can go to view your photos? I'm still trying to decide should I buy this lens or not. How do you feel about this lens? Would you recommend this lens?

  • @whoppers1000 You can view my photos at flickr.com/photos/wongjunhao/ I recommend this lens as it's lighter than the Sony 70200. IQ is similar too. Of course, you can't expect the same quality as the Sony 70200G. Take note that I'm just a hobbyist photographer, not a professional.

  • @wongjunhao thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it. Great photos. Keep up the work.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but where's the lens hood? Cause it certainly wasn't in the box....

  • @mattandhisnikon look again, when he pulls it out of the box, the lens cap is there.

  • @capsbases I said lens hood, not cap.

I have also seen another unboxing video where that black, rectangular-prism shaped protective thingy is in a different place in the box.

I would seriously doubt that this is the original unboxing of this lens.

  • always hold your cam this way... the dust will be happy about this... -.-

  • Very strange place for unboxing of your brand new lenses!

You just could not restist to get home to try it ;-)))

  • @ACV006 indeed.. i just cant resist!

  • @wongjunhao You are right my friend! Why to go home in order to try it!!! You've got the body with you, so lets start to shoot inmideatley. BTW great and very masive looking lens, i am about to get one for my Nikon!

    Congrats for your purchase.

  • @ACV006 thanks thanks! =)

  • hey we have the same camera mine is sony alpha a350 too.......... how's your new lens tamron 70-200mm f2.8 ? can you take more photos and then post it in youtube afterwards.....can you do it?.... 'coz im planning to buy this lens soon

  • @jessaabella Check out my Flickr at /photos/wongjunhao/

  • @wongjunhao i saw your photos very nice ...in your country is it legal to take pictures inside the buliding/shopping centre ?

  • @jessaabella Thanks for the compliments! For security reason, most of the building don't allow photography. However, it's not really a "legal" issue. However, most Singaporeans still take photos inside shopping malls.

  • in the street? Lol

  • @joyx81 on the go!
