  • Not all of the recent studies say to avoid peanut products the first year. One study I read says that leaving all peanuts till too late actually INCREASES the risk or the kids developing allergies, not decreases it, like previously thought. Corn and soy products might be good to avoid the first year though, because people that have sensitive digestive systems can be negatively affected by the pesticides that are grown into GMO corn and soy. Unmodified corn and soy are rare here in the US.
