i have these friends, it's a whole family- and a large one- and they're nationalists. they don't understand the fact that politics are ridiculous. they're all about mccain (mostly) and the father actually told me two days ago that if he heard some whispers (rumors) in the future, he would point the FBI my way and tell them i was a terrorist. WHY? because i told them that i don't believe in money.
i went home and cried, i shit you not. this is the world now? then i'm glad i'm leaving this behind
well, i won't do that just yet. let's just say i'm reserving final judgment. see, from the same person that would call me a terrorist, i sometimes purchase the most popular herb on the planet. and that supports that family. and they really are a good family but for their utter lack of world view. (there is a tv that NEVER turns off in their living room, if sports aren't on, it's set to fox news all the time).
i'm still trying to help them. and i'm making [very] small progress every time.
now, i may be an eccentric, idealist, cynical humanist, whatever- they think i'm a conspiracy nut. and i'll be the first to admit i love a good conspiracy theory, but i love facts quite a bit more. the theory part is just entertaining and thought provoking. they're terrified that 'that kind of thinking' is unpatriotic or something.
i'll probably keep trying to help after i get wire shoved through my face in gitmo...

I would highly recommend quietly no longer associating with them. If they invite you over, keep making excuses.
Use your power of social ostracism (but for obvious reasons keep it hidden that's what you're doing)!
