For a song with such sad lyrics, why does the music seem to say something different? It's sort of a paradox to me. I don't feel sad when hearing this song.

This is mysterious in a beautiful way. Interestingly the name of the song is from heaven to dust. such a true name for this song. But I still don't like the lyrics. It s very sad. I was looking for something more positive when it comes to this beautiful song and voice. Anyway, the song is Lovely!
What makes Azam Ali so great is that she is able to push her feelings an emotions through her voice. The musicians playing with her are amazing as well, but there's a reason for a center piece singer, to weave the music and instruments together. And Azam Ali does it in a way that is beyond magical.
This music has no limits, east meets semi electro west , really does it for me. This is the music that I hear in my dreams , and the dreams of my ancestors. Poetry of life, a true warriors call to arms. This music is the most setting for this purgatory before Janah.
@glishev: Yes, Loga Ramin Torkian or Greg Ellis are excellent musicians, too. Surely. But Azam Ali is outstandig because of her voice and she is the center of point. Rightly.
@glishev What i think that other instruments can be as dramatical as the voice, but i think the voice can be a little easier because everyone is born with some kind of voice. But its harder to put into other instruments i think because you also have to know your instruments and make it apart of yourself. And since its apart of yourself you can essentually make it as dramatic if its your voice out to others. Thats why i like Buckethead, and threw him i found a phenominal singer, Azam Ali
