That's bull about bboy flares being better. I've done it on the ground, and the mushroom doesn't make it any easier. Most people who can do it on the mushroom can do it on the ground. Try doing your bboy flares on a pommel horse w/handles. I am not for or against any type of gymnastic activity or bboy flares... It is all art.
