  • Hi. I found your video VERY helpful. Your voice & tone are just fine in my opinion. You demonstrate step by step and your video has illustrated a lay user like myself on how to convert dvd movies to mp4 in the shortests amount of time any other program can offer. Thanks so much :D

  • Hi cheekssiny :-) WOW! thanks for the nice feedback - glad you liked the software. It's really the easiest and most up to date program for ripping DVD's to iPods/iPads & iPhones. It will rip all the latest DVD's, and that's one of the reasons many purchase it.

    Thanks again, cheekssiny

    Andy :-)

  • Thank you for this post. I just got a new Ipod and then found your advice and followed it. The method is simple and very straight forward even for some one who is not very tech savvy..

  • Hi flametree74 :-) I'm glad you like the software, and I'm happy you took the time to post such nice feedback - thanks :-)

    Andy :-)

    Andy :-)

  • Not to be rude but you kinda. Say a few words then pause say another few words then pause and so on and so on.

  • Hi ipadlover1234 :-)

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate your feedback about the way I speak on the video. I'll try harder next time to be a bit more fluid. I think I have a lot of stops and starts due to me poor editing. However I respect your opinion and think you've made a good observation.

    Andy :-)

  • how do you download them to the ipad? Same way?

  • Hi CostaaPS3 :-) Yes, the same way - you will be able to select upon conversion whether you want it optimized for iPad or iPod (screen size) but the converted movies will work on any iPd/iPod/iPhone video player.

    Andy :-)

  • Hi oldjodlar :-) Thanks for watching my video :-)

In some countries it is not legal to copy copyright DVD movies.

    Andy :-)

  • @adanacAndy But for North America including U.S. and Canada, yes?

  • i have a question i been using this product over a year n its great but i was wondering if im able to download like special features or extras from a dvd

  • Hi @REKSTR --- YES, right click anywhere on the program and choose Options, then choose what extras you want to include from the DVD.

    Andy :-)

  • Thanks padifam :-)

I appreciate the feedback - new users... try it free for 3 full conversions (no watermarks - full program) DOWNLOAD: ------ dvdtoipd tv -------

    * and if you are ripping your encrypted DVD movies, don't forget to D/L DVD43 (free) --> you need both.

    Andy :-)

PLEASE give my video 'thumbs up' if you like it - every vote counts :-)

  • oh yea, BTW, FAMILY GUY IS AWESOME!

  • yuppers :-)

  • How does this work with iPod Touch/iPhone?

  • Hi rhysvanhouten746 :-)

Thanks for watching my video :-)

It works on all iPod devices that have video - there's a drop down box in Options that lets use choose the device so the screen size and everything is good.

    Andy :-)

  • Honestly , you are practically the only person who has posted a good video that we can understand . Thank you , it was really helpful (:

  • Hi Sharleen9 :-)

Thank you so much for your kind words. And I'm glad you found the video helpful.

  • now what if you have copied dvds. how does that work.

  • Hi morbidanjel44 :-)

No problem - you can rip your copied DVD movies.

    Andy :-)

  • Thanks sandylam28 :-)

I'm glad you like my video and took the time to comment too.

    Andy :-)

  • Hi kaljavaara :-)

Thanks for watching my video :-)

You get 3 free full conversions to try the software out, after that it costs $39.00 (DVDF43 is free) and you need both 1Click and DVD43 to rip and convert your encrypted DVD movies. You can download both here: ------ dvdtoipod tv ------

    Andy :-)

  • Can I change the settings to make sure it creates just one file and not a bunch of files? In other words, to use your example; instead of four different files, can I set it up to create just one? Thanks.

  • do i have to download dvd 43

  • Hi rcdude747 :-) -- YES, if you want to rip your encrypted DVD movies you need DVD43 (free) and 1Click (3 free complete conversions to try it) -- you can get them both here: ------------ dvdtoipod tv ---------------

    Andy :-)

  • Does this converter work better and faster than handbrake? I use handbrake but it takes the length of the movie to convert it. Also does this converter re size the video? I would like it the original size...so that opponent is crucial. Thanks! :)

  • Hi urkman1400 :-) YES, 1Click is a bit over twice the speed of HandBrake, and I'm not sure what you mean by original size... the program has several size options from which to choose.

    Andy :-)

Try it out for 3 full conversions and see what you think :)

    -------- dvdtoipod.tv ---------- DOWNLOAD FREE :-)

  • Hi gtbtone :-) thanks for watching my video :-)

You can Download the 3 free trial (full version - free) of 1Click at ----- dvdtoipod tv ---------- and if you want to convert your protected DVD movies you'll need DVD43 as well (free) at --- dvd43 com ---- If you like the programs, past the 3 free trials, you'll need to purchase 1Click for $39.00 - DVD43 is free.

    Andy :-)

  • the conversion seams darker than if I was to watch the dvd on my dvd player. But otherwise it worked great as described.

  • Hi CrossboneClothing :-)

thanks for letting us know :-)

    Andy :-)

  • Just wanted to say thank you very much for the video! It worked perfectly!

  • Hi CaseyTheDrummerBoy :-) YES, PS3 plays MP4 videos - no problem

    Andy :-)

  • @adanacAndy Ah all right, cool. Thanks. :)

  • @adanacAndy does it effect the dvd at all?

  • Hi nicsevern :-) I'm really sorry ti take so long to get back to you - I missed your comment. NO, it won't harm or change your DVD in any way. Andy :-)

  • can you get viruses from this programe?

  • H aayushi09 - thanks for watching my video :-)

The downloads are all clean - thousands and thousands over 5 years - no problems :-)

    Andy :-)

  • Thanks for watching my video padifam :-) and for taking the time to comment too :-)

    Andy :-)

  • thank you very much for this, i was tired of decrypting, then shrinking and then converting.

  • HI abyssrelm :-) Thanks for watching my video :-) -- I agree, it's nice when you can rip your DVD's to MP4 so easily... one of the reasons we like this software and Rated it #1 --- for those reading this, don't forhet you need DVD43 as well (free) to rip your encrypted DVD's. You can download both at my review site --- dvdtoipod tv ----

Please Rate my video if you haven't already - every vote counts

    Thanks Andy :-)

  • Can it convert to widescreen?

  • Hi alchemistEXE :-) Thanks for watching my video - sorry to take so long to get back to you -- I FINALLY figured out YouTube's new comment section. YES it will convert to Widescreen. Just Right click anywhere on the program and a drop down Options box will appear with many options including Widescreen :-)

  • Thanks SoldierV5 :-)

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. :-)

    Andy :-)

  • will it decode the dvd's aswell

  • Hi TheHaz69 :-)

Sorry to take so long to reply - with YouTube's new setup I missed a bunch of comments. You need 1Click (3 free conversions) and DVD43 (free) to rip your encrypted DVD's -

    Andy :-)

  • Both programs are fast, good quality, quickly downloaded and did everything it said it would with no problems-couldn't ask for much more. Thank you for this video.

  • Will this work for Blu Ray DVDs?

  • Hi Rexo680 :-) Some Blu Ray DVD's will work as they have a 'non-Blu Ray' version attached, but for the most part you can't rrip Blu Ray DVD's to iPod.

    Andy :-)

  • Hi Ansy, it's Wes from a year ago :) I subscribed.

    Andy :-)

  • Where do I download the 3 free trials, and dvd43? Thanks 5/5 video

  • hi marchisgooder :-) thanks for watching my video :-)

You can Download the 3 free trial (full version - free) of 1Click at ----- dvdtoipod tv ---------- and if you want to convert your protected DVD movies you'll need DVD43 as well (free) at --- dvd43 com ----

    Andy :-)

  • Hi kaljavaara :-) YES, the free trial version is good for 3 full conversions.

    Andy :-)

  • Hi Andy

Does the software require annual upgrades, if so how much does it cost?

    Thanks!

  • Hi lesoleil8 :-) Thanks for watching my video :-) Free software updates for 1 year and then I think it's $9.00 for the next year. They are constantly updating the program as the Movie industry is constantly upgrading their encodings; 1Click has done a good job of keeping up so far :-)

Please Rate my video if you haven't already - every vote cunts

    thanks Andy :-)

  • Hi xXx :-) DVD43 is a small free program that helps 1Click to rip your copyright DVD movies. It has a decoder that work in conjunction with 1Click.

    Andy :-)

  • Hi Lastnightsdinner :-) thanks for watching my video :-) The answer to your question is yes; You will get the full movie - if you want to not include certain parts of the DVD, no problem - just use the options menu.

    Andy :-)

    Andy :-)

  • it works with the trial version?

  • tututuk :-) yes, the trial version is the same as the full version - you get three full conversions - don't forget to D/L DVD43 (free) if you are going to convert your copyright DVD's as you need both to rip your protected DVD's DOWNLOAD at --- dvdtoipod tv ---

    Andy :-)

  • i wanna put the matrix on my ipod. is this gunna split it up into like 32 different movies? and how long do u think it would take? its 138 mins long.

  • Hi IFreakingEatPeople :-) ---- you're gonna love this software cause it doesn't do that kind of splitting crap like so many others I tested. It will make it all into one file/movie.

    Andy :-)

  • This s/w converts to mpeg4 so ... anything that accepts mpeg4 should be ok, right (e.g. my motorola droid, my ipod classic)? What are the minimum hardware reqs for an intel-based PC running Windows XP (cpu speed, RAM, disk space, will a CD drive do & what speed, etc.). Thanks --

  • Hi tara07733 :-) Thanks for watching my video -- you are absolutely right about the MPEG4 conversion. And with 1Click, you can pretty well use any Windows system (it doesn't require much in the way of system resources) except 64 bit. (You can use 1Click w/ 64 bit, but you can't use DVD43... so you wouldn't be able to rip your copyright DVD's)

    Andy :-)

  • how do u do this for windows 7

  • Hi koreanblood777 :-) --- Thanks for watching my video:-) It works just fine on Windows 7 - I have Windows 7 now on my laptop.

    Andy :-)

  • cheers mate that really helped me !!

  • Hi DX123547910 :-) -- thanks for watching my video :-) and I appreciate your taking the time to comment too. Please rate my video if you can -- every vote matters :-)

    Andy :-)

  • Great video! Thanks for taking the time to make this. There are so many "Free" converters out there, but this video proves that you get what you pay for. People don't hesitate to drop $350 on a piece of equipment, but then they want to get cheap when it comes to obtaining software that enables them to get the most out of it. Thanks again!

  • Hi Zero :) You are so right... I tested a lot of converters before finding this one (which is best so far). The free ones took forever, and often had trouble with proper audio, or jiggling video and most had trouble converting my new copyright DVD's. Thanks for watching my video and commenting too. Please Rate my video if you haven't already :-)

    thanks -- Andy :-)

  • nice vid dude

  • Thanks HellKill07 :-) I was on holidays, so I'm a few days behind.

    Andy :-)

  • Dude. Finally a video converter that actually works and a very good explainer. :)

  • wow man ty so much been trying to find this out for soo long your a legend!! 5 stars

  • Hi Ajaxps3 :-) Thanks for watching my video and a BIG thank you for your 5* Rating!

    Andy :-)

  • Definitely the best DVD to iPod Touch choice out there. Crystal clear movies with crystal clear sound, but still memory friendly!

My tip: Before ripping, go to options. Set 'Zoom' to 'Half', which reduces the black letterbox bands, therefore making better use of your iPod's screen. Also, set Quality to about 40. I've found that if you set it too low (10-20), you get that nasty digital blocking effect. Set it too high (50 plus) and you're really just wasting memory.

    Anyway, this is pure win!

  • Hi sbowesuk :-) thanks for taking the time to share your findings, I appreciate it :-)

    Andy :-)

  • Thank you! This is what I was wanting to know. Because of this info, I didn't have to do any "test" runs on the default 20/zoom settings. These settings worked perfectly!

  • Super xavierbrad -- thanks for letting us know :-)

    Andy :-)

  • what are the main differences between the free trail and the full version?

  • Hi NerdyHobbyistGamer :-) The trial and the full version are exactly the same... no watermarks, no ads, no crap -- just three full conversions to show you how it works :-)

    Andy :-)

  • will this work on dvd;s that are copyrighted

  • Hi crazyguyrugby101 :-) Thanks for watching my video and YES it will convert your copyright DVD movies - you'll need to D/L DVD43 a small (free) program that runs in the background when your using 1click to convert copyright DVD's.

  • Great video, very informative! So it does copy protected DVD's, and I would be able to upload the files to my Zune, right? (just making sure before I buy this)

  • Hi GameBoy9571 :-) Yes it will rip protected DVD's (download DVD43 - free, as you'll need it and 1Click for newer copyright DVD's). AND yes you will be able to then upload the converted MPEG-4 file to your Zune, or iPod, or any player that plays mp4 videos. Thanks for watching my video :-)
