  • Mark, I tried replacing my turbine igniter with a regular old auto spark plug and it just won't spark. I put the igniter back in and it works. What could it be? -larry,

  • @LarryCanFly I would try a smaller gap, and your leads must be in really good condition. You can't use regular spark plug resister type leads, must be solid copper. The jet engine exciter has a lower voltage and higher current that most automotive ignition systems.
