Marmots are one of the most understood animals in the U.S. They are very shy but once they get to know you, they are very friendly and very entertaining. But watch those teeth. They have "beaver-like" teeth and don't understand how close they get to you! If you don't want a relationship with a marmot, please do not feed them because they will attach themselves to you every time they see you-even coming into your house! But they are beautiful creatures.
