I have EU3 Divine Wind super game

Eu series give sometimes really odd posibilites (England as Poland's vassal ^^ in old Eu 2 for example) because this game let create players own vision of history which not always must follow what we learn in school (Hungarian colonies in South America ^_-).

But i wish someone would one day created EU (strategy map + micromanagement) -Total War (3D tactical world)- Pacyfic Storm (Units upgrade possibilites) hybrid game but i think this will never happen.

Guys, I have a question for you. I've been playing with Muscovy for a while, and nearly without minting. My problem lies in the inferiority of technology. The Ottomans and the west are superior to me in 3 or 4 techs, I hope this is growth in tech is not exponential, so if it is, I'll find myself fighting with swords agains muskets.

@afpossebrazda No, it's not exponential. In fact, if you are behind your neighbours, you will get some extra science points.

How do you install Devin wind? i am trying so hard but the game gives me a error all the time! Heir to the throne works just fine.i try searching everywhere and no one has the answer not even the company .

@kxr225522 What error you get?, did you instaled Direct X, latest drivers, Stoped the antivirus and antispyware during installing?

@Estrategy002 The Game starts to load as normal - with the regular pictures of exploration and war -, clues, and loading progress text until the last image of Napoleon and when the progress text reads: "Creating the World..." and then stops, producing an error box with text reading: "CreateVertexDeclaration failed!! (ProvinceVertexDecl)"

Try asking for help in the paradox forums again, you need to register your game there or they won't help.

@kxr225522 DW need vertex shader v. 3.0 , HTTT only needs V. 2.0 It's your graphics card that isn't compatible, is it a ATI?

I think I have the same problem. Is there any way to get around to playing Divine Wind with pixel shader 2.0? Perhaps turning something off in the settings.txt file?

@ignas1130 I think there is no way, since the game needs Graphics card with PShader 3.0 you only have 2.0 how will you render the world map.

@Estrategy002 Well you only needed PShader 2.0 before divine wind so I was thinking if there's a way to use the old map so you can play it with divine wind and Pshader 2.0.

Or maybe there is some mod that adds features like call allies without having to install divine wind.
