where do you find this creature? I no the spawn order is that there should be no creatures except leap frogs and flauros and that there should be no monsters after the first slope. I've been through this so many times, only fighting bandits, ancient blues, chiggers, and wandering plague. I have the pc version and i was wondering if the same spawn order applies to this.

it shows on the map there... I've got the xbox 360 version, but I can NEVER find the Ancient Blue! every time the conditions are right, it'll spawn Yamamais, Bandits, and once a Chigger and a Wandering Plague... do you have to be on CD 2? I must have spawned literally about 30-40 rares or so, still with no Ancient Blue :(

seems like the pc version and the xbox version are different. I gave up looking for yamamai but i happen to find ancient blue alot of times. Remember that each monster has a spawn order and as far as i no, it has the same spawn order as yamamai. The problem is that i forgot the spawn order -_-

well hey, look on the bright side! I just got the ancient blue the last time I tried (need just ONE more manticore horn now), and so it'll probably be only like another 40 rare creatures until it spawns again!

I'm fairly certain Ancient Blue is one-time-only rare.
