-Polar bear's scientific name is Ursus maritimus, which translates into sea bear

-they spend 40% of their lives in water

-they are classified as semi-aquatic mammals

-they swim so much they have toe webbings

-they spend a large majority if their time out at sea, miles away from land searching for scents of dead animals (whales) they pick up

-they are always in the water at the zoo think about it

-they are endangered so protect them, but global warming although real, is NOT responsible for this

ok well in 50 years when there prolly wont be polar bears from starvaton due to the chain reaction of seals dieing off and this is due to global warming also the hunting season is shortened due to it... 40% of their life in water... k well they cant spend 100% of it in water due to global warming. dont try to say its not from global warming i know its not the only reason but i mean cmon its a big part... its a big chain u know?

Me, I love Canada ladyknine. Beautiful Country. That doesn't mean I like the Government though so STFU stupid. I love Ireland too, but it doesn't mean I like your Government or some other people like you, who say they can't stand Canada. Have YOU ever been to Canada and met the people of Canada. I don't condone this appalling American Trophy Hunting any more than you do and I love these majestic and beautiful animals but, don't go on saying you can't stand a Country when you've NEVER been there.

Fine. Same hear. Makes me angry but doesn't take away that MOST people are OK. All Governments have shit for brains. They're in office ONLY to line their pockets or someone elses doing favors for their freinds. When it comes down to HELPING the real people, they just don't have the resources for some reason or other. I love Canada. Yes I know it is a small minority of people who make the decisions about these things, but if more people sign petitions and stand up for the animals then justice can be done. That is what eventually happened in England with regards to Fox hunting... I hate hunting for sport, it is barbaric... I just want to raise awareness thats all.....
