I don't see anything wrong with using the weapons not like they are made of foam but instead like actual metal armaments that cannot be swung around at will.
@Discipol how do you mean fast pace? do you hit faster with the weapons? we deliberately try to make the weapoms seem a little heavier than they really are, as the american "tradition" of hitting with a 4 ft weapon 3-5 times in a second looks too silly, and is incredibly difficult to count. Duragon in this video fought for his first time that day, btw :)
@speider our weapons are heavy and unbalanced, to keep control we grip hard, swing fast and sometimes hit the groin area which generates laughs and pain :D
From my point of view, on youtube, I see many openings, but perhaps its intentional for the viewers to see the swings, as you said.
