  • Wow! Awesome catch! So you were able to catch him leading a freight, nice! I would love to see that one day, but unfortunately we won't. However, they will run the 2000 on specials I heard. Thats good news!

  • @rufec12 Thanks Rudy. This was back when 2000 was mostly on trains that originated/terminated at Fort Lauderdale.

  • is fec 2000 still in service?

    any speedway units left ?

Or have they just been repainted?

  • As far as I know, 2000 is still in service, but has been mainly in the shop at New Smyrna Beach. The same might apply with the Speedway GPs.

  • I think it is. If you ever get some free time during the weekday in the AM (as early as 8), head up to Pompano just South of Copans. The local from Ft.Lauderdale has a major delivery West of 95, and a major pipe distributer at Sample Rd. What you see are the empties from the day. Next stop, Palm Beach Port in Riveria where it picks up more before heading North. Good Video. Oh yeah, If you take that trip to Pompano, you might catch a meet. Look at " Trinity Conget..." under my videos.

  • Wow, I like that engine. I wonder if it will head back south tomorrow on another train, I would love to catch this.
