  • they should make this U.S show to looks like fun

  • gee, every overseas show airs in NZ like 2 years after it is produced lol i think its only started airing here

  • We have 20 different colours in the ITV game show "The Colour of Money". Can someone name them all??

  • YOU WILL DIE IF YOU WATCH THE WHOLE OF THIS

  • bad quality

  • chris tarrant is host of millionaire!

  • Nice to have Chris Tarrant, the first ever "Mr. Millionaire" host this series which is very similar to Deal or No Deal. Too bad it got cancelled after just 7 shows. I would have loved to see a version here in America.

  • Was the guy who said "Yes, we can" from America?

  • @MrGameshowfan

if you mean obama yeah, bob the builder no

  • If I was on this, I'd pick the harder to say colours, that some people wouldn't want to choose in case they mispronounced them.

But that's just my theory. xD

  • I actually liked this show.

  • hilarious face pulling at 7:11 by that woman!

  • Stress comes in many different forms throughout our lives, the degrees vary. A game show should be about fun and it's stressful in its own way. The Colour of Money (probably changed the spelling to avoid a lawsuit) tries to hard to make it stressful. Between the ticking sound effect and the machine choosing it is just too much.

  • How did they change the spelling?

This is a BBC TV show. The official British spelling is "colour"

  • @supern0vae Actually, Colo(u)r of Money was on ITV. The BBC would never allow game shows like these on their channels (since they are a PUBLIC broadcaster)!

But if it comes our way to the States under a different name (so it wouldn't be confused with the Tom Cruise/Paul Newman movie), John O'Hurley would be the host and the top prize: $500,000!!!

  • @johnnyafairbanksak oh yeah bbc wouldn't show this type of show but show total wipeout eh!

  • The spelling wasn't changed.

The Americans spell certain words differently.

    E.g.

    "Realize" - US

    "Realise" - UK

    "Color" - US

    "Colour" - UK

I think they did it to show that this is the British "version".

  • What I meant by "lawsuit" is that there is already a movie called "The Color Of Money".

  • I know what lawsuit means. But the content is different (obviously) and the different spelling (because it's English) so I think BBC are fine.

  • the use of colors was so forced they could have easily just numbered the machines and called it "the power of money" but then again it would look too much like deal or no deal.

  • does anyone know the music at the start intro?

  • @daiozTMTM Many game show themes are composed for the show exclusively, and I'm assuming this is no different.

  • stress lets have a good old stress gameshow

  • "I start it. You stop it."

  • Bullshit gameshow.

  • tbh it aint tht bad

  • but it was totally messed up by those american style trailers and every contestant having a sob story. and did they really have to play leona lewis over the sob stories?

  • and the way the contestants always gave a really sad reason why they picked the colours...

"I'm going for purple because my aunt has a friend who has a cousin who has a brother who gave me a purple dress back in 1992"

I mean, what was the point?! lol

  • whos idea was this mess of a show?

  • well it was made by the same production company that makes eggheads...

  • well that production company dosnt have much of a imagination. no wonder it lasted about two shows, there is no skill and hardly any entertainment. oh ill choose lemon because it sounds nice! fuck off.

what was chris tarrent thinking. maybe the clue is in the title.

  • at least £50,000

    but a maximum of what?

  • 100k????

  • I personally prefer this to DOND as it requires more skill. Pity it's on ITV though.

  • crap show, all the best quiz shows you can play along at home

  • It's alright, but it's no Millionaire. Unfortunately though, ITV are relying on this being a smash hit to rescue them from financial ruin. 6.5million tuned in for the first episode, and it's sticking at around that figure. It's a far cry from the glory days of millionaire, when it would regualarly pull in over 15million.

I neither like nor dislike this. But I can see straight away that it's not going to have the impact that ITV are praying for.

  • that presenter is fiiiiiiiiiiit

  • i'm not sure but isn't millie of of sky sports news

  • this game suks

  • bring back the vault

  • it's not Who wants to be a millionaire for ever :(

  • millie is sooooo hot

  • i've never felt so tense watching a game before!

  • oh yeh i didnt see it, but 1:05 is my sister too and guess what...there on the intro of the show everytime now, class sisters i love them!

  • just because your sister didnt win 65 thousand smackers :)....oh wait u probably dont even have a sister!..and my two are gorgeous...dont like it go take a badgers at eastenders instead

  • and lol at some people in here there sooo stupid, if you dont like the show...whos askin u to comment, you prick

  • there is my sisters in this video! :)....30 seconds my other sister is the blonde one on the right after it :D she won 65,000 on it :D

  • I like the game but yet again who oh why do we have to hear about these sodding sob stories.

Sob stories have all but ruined Deal or no Deal and for me gone are the days where appearing on a game show used to be fun and enjoyable to watch/participate and not be totally depressed or bordering by hearing about that someone deserves to win big money because their cat has died!.

Totally agree both Duel and Interceptor should have been on for more than one series!

  • @diehardlankyfan

I agree about the sob-stories. These shows like Colour of Money and Deal Or No Deal are supposed to be simple quiz shows, NOT depressing charity shows or whatever

I really do wish i could turn back time to see the good old days of Deal Or No Deal when there was no sob stories and no silly gimmicks or any other desperate measures to try and keep the shows entertainment going

  • Ahha Its Ellie :)

  • is he still doing millionaire?

  • Holy Heart Attack!

    This show just screams FOX!

  • Her reaction to the PINK machine quitting really scared Chris, he looked like he was about to dial 911 on her! :D

  • How can anybody say this show is awful when Millie Clode is on it looking as divine as that?

  • This is kind of jumpy at times.

  • if a player was to win before all 10 picks are used, will they get the chance to ADD to their total?

  • No, cause the objective is to get enough money on the card

The money on the card is what you are playing for.

  • I think this show is great TV for Saturday night! Please ITV don't axe it!!!!

  • they are going to axe it!?!?!

  • it might be looking that way already, because the ratings for Colour of Money were terrible compared to Just Dance For Comic Relief and Ant & Dec. It shouldn't be axed, but it doesn't suit Saturday night primetime really...

  • Duel pretty much lasted for one series :( Interceptor same. Both good shows which think should last more. Which is why im a little cautious over it.

  • everyone seems to hate this show as well :(

on digitalyspy there's about 12 pages on tcom saying its awful.

  • Thats awful :( I like this show!!!!

  • i know! its great! only got about 3 million viewers as well where as ant & dec got 6 million! :(

  • I wish we had something like this over here.

  • Kinda like Deal Or No Deal, but more STRESSFUL, like you need EMTs on the set....some of those people look like they were ready to DIE.
