i think, you should be a bit more careful.. u said u used tablesalt.... when u made hydrogen, you made REALLY LOW concentrated Sodium Hydroxid... its an acid that makes soap outta ur fat on ur hand!, so wear some kind or gloves that doesnt let liquieds through, though its low concentrated, it still can damage your hand!.... and as lutherp40 said 2 years ago... you plates will corrode, and after like... 20 mins ur gonna see BLACK water from the clean water, and u wont find ur plates anymore :D

cool for a beginner. But use something banking sode or other electrolyte because table salt turns to colorine gas very toxic stuff.

Be careful of using salt. It will erode and damage your plates.

Thanks! I typically use baking soda however I couldn't find it. It's some where in the refrigerator.
