Ohio Players, Roger & Zapp, Bootsy.... growing up in Ohio and being in 25-35 during the 90's was such a treat.... and when the Breeders hit I was living nearby in Columbus.... it was incredible. And from Cali you had Smashing Pumpkins..... its was a beautiful time for music.

I have seen DEVO live in '95 (awesome) of course the Breeders, Ween, and my first show was actually Prince, The Time and Vanity 6 in high school 1983 IIRC..... wow.

Also Gerald Levert (RIP -- Ohio Players progeny) went to Shaker Heights, I was at Cleveland Heights next door. I cannot believe he left us 5 whole years ago....
