  • this is so apocalyptic nu wave dub fusion

  • Really good....really really good.

  • classic .... drum n bass tune. I say that as someone whos been into this music for 15 years. It's a tune that is obviously 80's retro but it is still drum n bass for me. absolute sickness.

  • F A B R I C L I V E 5 0

  • what city is that ?

  • @britflik leicester, lol

  • So perfect.

  • soo nice

  • Still my favourite Instra:mental. Such a perfect tune

  • particolare ma abbbasanta auessome!

  • Holy sht why has it taken me so long to look them up, heard of them ages ago

  • who made this beat? I want to use it

  • Those vocals are lovely.

  • who makes up instra:mental, is it a duo? i know one is now 'boddika' but dont know who the other goes by

    thanks!

  • @meeshymoo2 Hey man, it's Jon Convex.

  • @meeshymoo2 jon convex

  • Genres are great for people that are new to music but really at this point it has all crossed over into the same.

  • @ThePerfectBalls yea i think genres as time passes, it smore difficult to class into labels or genres. as experimentatin goes on.

  • sometimes i love kickin back listening to non dancefloor tunes and cruuuuzing the web. so chilled

  • Great tune, love it.

    Long live music!

  • Why is everyone so quick to try and put music into genres..? Just shut the fuck up and listen.. yeah..

  • @LEDCircus

probably because they like it and wonder if there's anything else like it. if they're trying to fit it into a genre just for the sake of it than i agree.

  • whoever those lucky 500 were who got the golden plates .. i very jelly :( massive ep

  • everyone shut up! this is good music at 170bpm

  • wicked song!

  • @bry1888 Since you obviously have no reasoning capacities or intelligence I hearby end this conversation as King of Fucking Dub.

  • @bry1888 It isn't what you want it to be, it's what it is. You can't change the drum pattern or the note arrangement just because you might want to. From the little amount of obviously know you have obviously recently discovered the UK underground. Instra:Mental has been around in D&B for years with D-Bridge and others. King of Fucking Dub is a good title for me, thanks.

Now please tell me what the fuck a dobber is you half-wit imbellic Gamma.

  • so sexy..

  • AUTONOMIC

  • Sounds like IDM :D

  • @frenchpet IDM doesn't exist. Please refrain from using that term.

  • @BatchMeta IDM IDM DIM DIMDIMDIDMDIMDIMDIDM tell that to the IDM mailing list mane

  • The colours change, that'd be sweet art installation up on my wall....if I had money :D

  • its just super ,really....super good

  • its just super really. so damn super

  • instra:mental has the perfect sound right now

  • autonomic !

  • @bomdoboy mmhm :D

  • orgasmiccc

  • So amazing...♥

  • goose bumps, every single time...

  • wicked tune

  • I like the vocals realy nice...

  • <3

  • tek-one yellowcake mix brought me here

  • This is such a great song. Finally tracked it down after hearing it on a mix from BTS radio. Boooya!

  • ooh

  • @stumblingoat Haha, don't try and be a smart arse and then get your first point wrong! Definitely 170bpm!

  • ....Divno...bravo....:)

  • is that plymouth?

  • its dBridge singing?

  • must have been made with fl studio

  • "I can see you watching me.. waiting.. " whats he saying after that? High above?

  • This is like transformers having sex!

  • awesome tune rememba this in a rave scene numba 1

  • They've quit DNB. :(

  • @HateMadeFlesh - this is so good the fact it didn't generate press would be enough to make anybody that talented change step. A track that good should have a scene built up around it. Some of the best produced music of any genre worldwide.

  • The 2 who disliked are clearly tone deaf.

  • If you like this then check out my liquid dubstep song.

  • Sick tune!! I lost this in time... nice one.

  • Clearing some stuff up:

    - This sits at around 140bpm.

    - Its not entirely minimal, just because a track isn't "noisy" (netsky), really does not mean its minimal. Defienently placed in "experimental".

    - Instra:mental = Alex Green (Boddika) and Damon Kirkham

    - Vocals on this track are done by dBridge.

  • @stumblingoat you don't mean THE d'bridge, drum n bass producer do you? If so, DAMN! That's amazing!

  • @stumblingoat Lrn2tempo

    its 170bpm

    its classed as autonomic too

  • @stumblingoat 140? listen again

  • This stuff ISN'T DUBSTEP. This is around 180 bpm, and as someone else pointed out it's more akin to experimental/minimal drum & bass. And Instra:mental is two guys, neither of whom are dbridge.

  • first heard this on the fabriclive 50 autonomic album, if you like this i urge you to listen! Everyone should listen :)

  • This tune is pure reason why dubstep is the most exciting genre in world. Genius.

  • @NarlenWolves It's not Dubstep :p. It's minimal drum & bass.

  • @nickshel it s goood music

  • @nickshel all that categorizing doesn't make any sense. The main point is, that you like and enjoy the music you hear, doesn't matter how it's called!

  • @purlinoo Of course not but to call this Dubstep when it has a breakbeat, faster tempo and completely different sound is just annoying so I thought I would prevent him from writing on more videos.

  • @nickshel ur right, this isn't dubstep, but it's a familar kind of music. U can see that in the tunes of Boddika who's a part of instra:mental, if I am not totally wrong. And he does some dubstep stuff also. I read this discussions several times here on youtube. And people arguing about genres the whole day are kinda annoying, too ^^. btw I checked your youtube channel, you have a great taste of music, respect for that!

  • @nickshel Go eat a sex toy

  • @magcha777 I can't speak for you but thats not a usual past time of mine. Well I suppose I can't judge you for what you do when you're alone.

  • @nickshel Its not minimal drum and bass its autonomic drum and bass... rookie

  • @massyldnb no, iI think you'll find it's post-industrial jazz garagestep.

  • @nickshel hahahahahaha

  • hate to point out that its in the 170 regions

  • @dadyshakes Which makes it a bitch to mix aswell. U can't make it into a dubstep set unless you slow it down/Speed up the other track, and god I HATE doing this

  • @NarlenWolves ... moron

  • This is brilliant. Just not long enough.

  • R.I.P STEVIE...watchin u up there.....xxxx

  • does anyone know if thats insta singing undering the distortion?

  • @KingEbenofnezer So disgusting it's beautiful

  • @KingEbenofnezer this isnt dubstep lol

  • @037342 Neosoul/Intelligent Drum & Bass right? Have you heard Ur A Sta - Black Pocket (D Bridge Autonomic mix) yet? Kicks equal amounts of ass.

  • @grah55 thumbs up from me! im into more of stuff like, Tron by Joker ;D

  • @037342 Oh I see. I'm recently starting to like some more dubstep artists. (before I only liked Skream and Benga and hated the rest. Still hate the rest) and I know Joker. Infact, favourite song by Joker would be Watch The Sun Come Up.

  • @grah55 check out james blake, mount kimbie, fantastic mr fox, von d, clubroot for good dubstep

  • @grah55 where i agree that this is intelligent music, this tune is by far the best 'autonomic' tune i have heard. I understand how people listen to this at home relaxing but why do you go out and listen to this???? Does it not get boring??

In my opinion the intelligent drum and bass as you describe, are artists such as Survival, Furney, Spectrasoul, LTJ Bukem, D-Bridge(dnb) . All unique in such differant ways but all produce such progressive and tunes to vibe to.

  • @MrLDN1 slow song, any good (seethingly hot) club. end of discussion.

  • @grah55 you don't really know why you like it do you

  • @MrLDN1 what the fuck? First of all I shouldn't need a reason to like a song. I barely listened to Instra:Mental before this. So in truth you can go fuck yourself. But allow me to give you the real reason I like this song.

The beat, the mixing, the way everything works together in a minimalistic form. The fact that its still a Yang style (as in ying being the progressive 4v4 stuff) chill drum & bass song (meaning the tempo is a samba like 4v4). The goddamn musical arrangement (notes pitch).

  • @MrLDN Intelligent Drum & Bass isn't all progressive 4/4 head. Some of it is off beat 4/4 (LucaNZ). Some Drum & Bass is even in 3/4 time (Boom Boom Satellites). Some 2/4 (The Upbeats). So you can't come over here for NO reason to just hate on a song and try to tell all of us that the song is boring to listen to out of the house. What the fuck? Dude... as a neo soul intelligent drum & bass song, you only need to go to a NON DRUM & BASS 4/4 PROGRESSIVE ONLY CLUB. More Neo Soul R&B Dance clubs fool

  • @grah55 keep it in your pants keeno

  • @MrLDN1 Well now you know. Maybe if you don't indirectly insult fans of a genre and style of music they wont rage @ u.

  • @grah55 rage at me if you want, i havent got time to read your borin comments that i couldnt give a flyin fuck about mate.

  • @MrLDN1 So why have you been reading them up until now?

  • @grah55 This is an absolutely amazing tune, one of my favourite ever post rave chillers. But you, my friend, are chatting absolute Hornswaggle.

  • @rawcsy dont ever say post rave. dont ever ever ever ever ever say post rave. that is stupidest shit i have ever heard. this is fucking jungle

  • @exactlywhatisaid I meant post-rave as in to listen to after I get in from a rave my good friend. No need for the hostility. I wouldn't class it as jungle if we're really going to get picky over genres.
