  • If your black your a nigger

If your tanned your a nigger

If yoyr working class your a nigger

If your muslim your the new nigger!

  • @AlexTheMusicPhene lmfaooo same here except im italian (sicilian)..people say your egyptian? domincan? light skinned black?...im like stfu...people need to realize race has NOTHING TO DO WITH NATIONALTY

  • i relate to this soooo much because i am quite a mixed breed. and since im light skinned people ask me if i am egyptian or moroccan or whatever or they ask which of my parents is white..and so many questions. but really puerto rican, choctaw, cherokee, senegalese, NOLA creole..

  • @AlexTheMusicPhene Im black and hispanic....and I look like some white girl ....lawlll

  • @AlexTheMusicPhene the thing is puerto rican- says nothing about ur race- it just says where u were born- any race can be puerto rican

  • @RootsRunDeeep Puerto Ricans typically look a certain way so it becomes label a 'race' like Indian and Chinese, when anyone can be an Indian or Chinese but for he/she to be mistaken for something he/she isn't shows how much race holds water.

  • @HybridD91 Race definetly doesn't hold water; it holds Blood. One can determine through info pulled from dna just how far back your people are from. 2ndly, I have seen different races living in puerto rico- just like any other *American State*

  • @RootsRunDeeep The only reason 'races' can be delinated is that scientists know which alleles are present in which populations we've already given names for and that speaks for ancestry, not race because it doesn't work on every individual in that 'race'. I suggest you do more reading about 'race' and genetics before commenting and I never said other 'races' are absent in Puerto Rico. I said they tend to look a particular way. Don't address a point I wasn't arguing.

  • @HybridD91 oh i Will address any point that i see fit. Moving right along;puerto rico- like the rest of the carribean were a part of the african slave trade. So it would make sense that Many p.r.'s share afrikan ancestory or are black or mixed with it.

  • As black female from the Caribbean, I find the poem very funny and I loved it! When people are not well educated about the different ethnicities and races in the world they wrongly label you...I wish people would stop trying to label the difference, who cares, it's not important. Thank goodness I'm from the Caribbean, we have all kinds of ethnicities mixed with everything you can think of and we love our people: "Caribbean People" that is. So much love & peace to all.

  • This was pure brilliance!! He spoke hot fiyaahh!!

  • I am black and puerto rican and oh my god I love this.

  • @AlexTheMusicPhene PUTA MADRE JUST TELL THEM U R A FUCKING HUMAN ..BOLUDO

  • @traslomita dumbass...

  • i knew willie back in the day and it is both a pleasure and treasure to see him again.

  • ....They spelt "rician" wrong...

  • Regardless of the color of his skin or the heritage that courses through his veins, this much can be said: he's a brilliant artist.

  • According to society if your skin color is what society high yellow, cafe latte or etc then your race or ethnicity is questions. I dont understand what difference it make if you know what race someone is. People just noise as heck. *my opinion*

  • @AlexTheMusicPhene

jaja y despues dicen o te preguntas si hablas mejicano?? eso ni existe!!! it's happened so many times... then others just say, omg where did u learn ur english u dont have an accent.. people.. we do have good education here!!

  • ok...some one care to explain?? S=(

  • racist and mean.

  • @LilBlitz116 Hes not speaking Mexican... he is Speaking Spanish. There is no such thing as a Mexican language. It is Spanish. And the spanish slang he uses is PUERTORICAN not mexican.

  • @Cyb3rHyp3r No Puertorican is not Mexican but people get confused when you have an actress like Jennifer Lopez aka JLo play a Mexican Singer part like Selena. Now tell me what is the difference beside one is an island and the other an independent country that is south of the border of the United States of America?

  • @sportsmarvel There are several big differences.

For starters the heritage, completely different roots... (like there is a difference between a white guy from Russia and a white guy from Colorado. They are both white, but have completely different lineages. Language, tho both speak "Spanish", there are certain differences. Another thing Puerto Ricans are U.S citizens from birth unlike Mexicans.

Other things differ... except that both have red blood and are human.

  • @ItsGambitFromBklyn "Aw shut up"? Brilliant retort, if this was a bad 1930s movie, you lazy slob.

  • What's funny is that this is what my bestfriend calls me, Because I'm black and boriqua.(: ahah I'mma niggarican

  • Two hints that NOTHING was being done even vaguely close to poetry:

    1) If the presentation used the word "Def" in its title.

    And

    2) If you found yourself hearing the "N-word" over and over, from a bunch of young punks. That shock value baloney got old after the first two minutes.

  • @themredweirdoshow What is "poetry" according to you?

  • @nihkkka Been publishing REAL poetry since 1970. Don't need no modern gimmick slams, jams or stupid spams. It's all here, baby - just go to Dive Ink Books dot com !

  • @themredweirdoshow I'm pretty sure you're full of it. Went to your channel and spent a grand total of 2 minutes there. I'm actually posting mainly to see if I can get those two minutes back.

  • @nihkkka That's all you punks got? You're "pretty sure" of something? Wow. Meanwhile, you'd rather defend a bunch of no-talent swearing bums. Well, you can have your two minutes back, if I can have every minute back from the years I've been subjected to all that stupidly generic HIP-SLOP and RAP-CRAP!

  • @themredweirdoshow Show me some of your real poetry then. Prove that its out there. Give me a direct link to where I can read it and if its any good I'll claim my stupidity and humbly apologize.

  • @nihkkka I already gave you the link containing 30 years worth of poetry, and you already said you spent a whole "2 minutes" there, remember, son? Whatsa matter, today you done had too much RAP-CRAP, too much crack - or both? You lost da debate, ya'll, so git over it! See whut ahm sayin'? Say whut I'm seein'? Pee whut I'm payin'? Pay what I'm peein'? Haw! Haw! Haw!

  • @themredweirdoshow You misunderstood me. I spent that time on your channel. Your channel sucks. However you are not a bad writer, I just checked out the site. You're traditionalist when it comes to poetry and i respect that. But that doesn't make what people like those that show up on def poetry not poets. They're more modern, far different from you, but still poetry.

  • @nihkkka I say that simple swearing and peppering the N-word all over the place (regardless of the speaker's rac) is NOT poetry. "Def"? - ya, the audience WISHES they were deaf! And why can't they spell? Def? Boyz? What the heck is that? So because I can't stand such non-English garbage, I'm thrown on the boring "traditionalist" bone pile? Fine. We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.

  • @themredweirdoshow You disagree yet don't provide a counter example. What would you consider yourself then? I read some of what you wrote. It was good. There's nothing boring or bad about being a traditionalist any who, you making that distinction doesn't make sense to me. I think you're a bit older. Because of that, you look far to deep into the vernacular used instead of the message being sent. This particular piece may not be the best example, but others on this show have been outstanding.

  • @themredweirdoshow

"such non-english garbage" - says the colonized pawn

  • @valibal Hey, we're all pawns in the globalists' game, baby.

  • Comment removed

  • @themredweirdoshow Wrong quote, goober.

  • @themredweirdoshow

"we are all pawns in the globalists' game"?

what are you in your game? do you even have one, pendejo colonizado? or do you only exist relative to "the globalists"

    Los cimarrones seguimos.

  • @valibal What am I in the game? A pawn as well, just like I said. Better check your english dictionary again, pal.

  • @themredweirdoshow youre just stupid. you have no complaint.you just want 2 be codescending

  • @themredweirdoshow dude you suck. Fuck your gay ass EE Cummings style of old world poetry. This is spoken word, another type of poetry that your ass didn't even know mr educated and shit. I go to college I took english literature and read all those fucking gay poems. If you don't like this kill yourself because you wouldn't understand real poetry from the heart. By the way I'm not black or puerto rican I just respect his talent.

  • I just searched high and low for this lol I loved this one when I was like 13. Def Poetry needs to come back.

  • Lmao ya speaks really ain't
