interesting video - will have to think about this... i suffer from migraines, and strangely, sometimes i feel that coffee helps! also, even though i only have one cup of coffee a day (and i dont usually finish it), sometimes NOT having that coffee can trigger a migraine. on a whole other note, you look great in this video! could you do a video/post about the makeup, like mascara and eyeliner, you use? im assuming they are natural and safe! and your fringe (bangs) is really cute!
@charissalien Well I don't wear eyeliner but my lip gloss is by Zuii and my mascara is maybelline -- I haven't found a good mascara that doesn't give me black around the eyes. It's rated fairly low in toxicity on ewg.org. You can check all your products there!
My mom recent had her gastrointestinal screening and the gastroenterologist told her to not drink coffee, and eat spicy or citrus fruits because she has acid reflux and inflammation in her stomach. Based on your coffee detox, should I tell her to drink half a cup everyday for the first week? (she only drinks around a cup per day) the lack of coffee is giving her intense headache.
I agree, i'm not sure if the antioxidant level is hindered through the process. From what I understand, as long as it is a high quality bean and the method is swiss water, it's kind of a win win. You get the taste and benefits the coffee bean offers without the negative effects of caffeine or becoming addicted to it. Perhaps a good option for people who just like the taste of coffee!
Good video. Are all of the negative effects of coffee associated with the caffeine in it? Would that mean that swiss water decaf coffee have no negative effects?
@TravisVanSluytman2 The effects I'm referring to that coffee can promote are definitely with respect to the caffeine. However, I am not sure (without doing some research) if the benefits of high quality coffee such as antioxidants are negated by decaffeinating it.
I loved this video :)
Deffinately, it's deppending on the individual.
If you are not negatively effected by coffee, then Organic coffee grinds.
Personally, I have a history of intense anxiety disorder, so I stay completely away from Coffee [but the occassional coffee is fine :) ].
As well, coffee substitutes aren't so bad if you find one that suits your taste.
Inka Coffee is fantastic --- Personally :)
I'm taking the Holistic Nutrition course in Moncton, and I've learned...so much.

@gaibei9 Certainly wean off.

@gaibei9 Yes, good idea... cut back slowly and make sure she drinks plenty of water -- will help with the headaches.

One of the best answers I've heard to the ever-confusing coffee debate. Thank you! :)

@mazeightysix Glad to hear it. Probably because coffee is very dehydrating as it's a diuretic.
