I know people don't generally like this movie, but I think it is great. Even the goofy stuff just adds to the crushing feeling of dread.

The aliens were idiots, though.

I actually liked Signs. It was probably the last somewhat satisfying M. Night film (well better than Lady in the Water, The Happening, or Last Airbender anyway). That said I would have the same reaction if this was what I saw whn I walked in the door or saw those last three films in a dvd store.
