Thanks, Ya i've been starting to feel better since i got the drain out. Now if i can get over this kidney thing I'd be doing good. I also am a HUGE tea addict. What kind of sweetner do you use in your teas?
plus if ou are feeling pain, have them check you out before..i had to see my surgeon before the first post op visit because of the kidney pain i was having. you are your own best advocate and there are things the surgeon knows that a pcp doesnt so call them if you have to. Its always better to be safe than sorry after such a major surgery.
hi! i had some kidney pain right after post op that turned out to be a kidney stone and it passed on its own. High levels of bilirubin can mean various things and I am sure your doctor will be able to dx the problem with further testing of the liver and probably gallbladder cuz sometimes when you develop stones or blockage in gallbladder tube your bilirubin levels go up. Make sure they send you for more testing don't just do a regular post op visit without having them check you out.
Thanks. Yes it's really painful. Just in my back though. I asked my surgeon about it several times and he just kept saying it was from being in bed so long & that it'd pass. So i finally went to my pcp & he's the one that found the problem. I go back thursday for some more tests I sure hope he finds out something cause i can hardly even sit up.
Poor girl! Do you watch MissJanie's videos - she had kidney issues right after surgery too... She's the kindest person - you should talk to her and see if she's got any advice.
