  • sopranos brought me here

  • i am 13, and love this stuff

  • i am 13, and love this stuff sopranos first scene brought me here

  • I wonder why this video never ceases to brighten my day

  • Gah! I'm so sick of people acting so prestigious when they listen to older music. I hate comments like, 'Oh, this is so much better than the rubbish on the radio today. I love this type of music - and I'm only a teenager!' or whatever. Obviously, everyone at this video likes this kind of music, or they wouldn't have actively searched for it - so you aren't above anyone here. Also, just because you think popular music nowadays is crap, doesn't mean it isn't music. It's just a different kind.

  • Now THIS is music! Not Lady Gaga or any other that other junk from now.

  • I love this band. So, so much.

  • R.I.P Sonny :')

  • Yes Dion and the Belmonts are pretty stellar. The 50's and 60's were a great time for music.

  • Its good to know i'm not the only young person who listen to this kind of music, it's the shit

  • The good ol' days when music was actually music. Even though I'm 23, and haven't been around in those times, I prefer those times way better then today. Life was better then.

  • It may be poor taste but I am going to do it anyways. I am asking for anyone out there who has extra money to send it via paypal to neil.fingleton@yahoo.com. The money will be put to good use. I just wanted to see if there were any individuals who could spare $5, $100 or whatever to help me out. Surprise me. Again, I make no promises in return. I do not receive any government assistance. I am asking directly from you. I am just asking for your kindness in this project. Email me. Thank you!

  • Bronx Tale Great movie

    .

The Chaz Palmateri line stuck with me "Better to be feared than loved" but he had to think about about for a while

  • a bronx tale brought me here, a great movie.

  • @marcjon000 sapranos an goodfellas brought me lol

  • @marcjon000 heh watching the bronx tale right now and heard this song at the beginning.

  • @marcjon000 It brought me to, It brought me to!!!!! :)

  • The original N'Sync

  • This great song was used in John Carpenter's "Christine," which starred a '58 Plymouth. The car was supposed to be Fury, but it was closer to a Belvedere, since the Fury was only available in Buckskin Beige and gold tone trim, not silver.

Either way, both were great wheels and are equally valuable today...

  • I'm 16 And I Love This Music! :D

  • Time to crank up the '58 Plymouth Belvedere...

  • I'm a fetus in my mothers uterus, and I like this (rolling eyes)

  • I have heard this in so many "old" ish movies like robert di niro's A Bronx Tale

  • heard this first from the movie 'Christine' :D

  • what a great one

  • wicked song total classic

  • im 15 and i love the oldies

gosh i wish i was born or alive around that time :)

  • @1994chucha

It's funny, I have good memories of doowop like this from my childhood, but I don't belong to that generation, my parents do. The reason it triggers nostalgia with me is that I raided my mom's extensive 45 record collection (I'm glad she really didn't mind, because I effectively destroyed them all with play) and played them as much as she used to.

Now when we hear this, it brings back our youths at once, even though it was 20-ish years apart.

  • @plotter44 I like them to

  • Correction on the lyrics: On verse 2, line 2, it's "they laughed and said....."not to nitpick. Great post, thanks.

  • no, youre not the ONLY 16 year old who listens to this type of music. I like it too but there arent many teens who like this stuff

  • @TheMuSiC1669

  • @TheMuSiC1669 14, 15, 16...i guess its really never too late to be a hipster. but at least you've chosen the right way to do it.

  • im the only 16 year old i know that likes this type of music.

  • no ur not im 18 and i like all the 50s & 60 tunez i dont like donk tunez anymore coz they are just same shit all time bang bang fuking bang!

  • @plotter44 sadly true

  • What does "IFIC" stand for? My guess is that the first two letters stand for international feminist, but the last two are a mystery to me.

  • One of Bandstand's sponsors was a chewing gum company whose slogan was "Flavorific". Notice how the kids in the audience are chomping away.

  • I dont know either, but I'll guarantee the first two letters dont stand for international feminist. Are you serious? This was about 1958, you know.

  • GREAT!!

  • They were one of the all time great white doo wop groups and this song was very vocally detailed much like The Beach Boys Good Vibrations. Classic!
