  • Great! My favorite part of all baroque compositions is at the end when the tempo slows, whether it be an overture like this or the ending cadances in the chorus' of the Messiah. Somehow V I just NEVER gets old for me especially at the end. I could go on for days about baroque music. Anyway, I just love hearing others compose in the baroque style in 2010!

  • @UnoriginalComposer Thank you so much for your comment! Much appreciated! Keep on composing :).

  • Wow, stunning :) Lovely, I always love pieces like this: keeps elements from the Baroque period, especially G.F. Handel as mentioned in other comments, while still creating new patterns, features etc, which makes this music very much modern indeed :) Thanks for uploading, I have thoroughly enjoyed listening!

  • @Ant2101 Thank you very much! Comments like yours make it worthwhile to keep composing. I really appreciate it! Thanks again!

  • This is simply amazing!

I can feel G.F.Handel spirit in this french overture!

You are great original without betraying baroque style!

  • Hi, Paul. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I will certainly upload the rest of the suite as I finish recording it for YouTube (which involves, for example, specifying articulation and realizing the basso continuo part on the harpsichord). I will add them to the playlist on my channel. Thanks again!
